<p>White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described injunctions on President Donald Trump&#8217;s executive orders as &#8220;the continuation of the weaponization of justice&#8221; during Wednesday&#8217;s press briefing.</p>
<p>Leavitt addressed media reports suggesting that Trump is overstepping his authority and putting the United States in danger of a constitutional crisis, arguing that this is an &#8220;extremely dishonest narrative&#8221; and that the media are&#8221;fear-mongering&#8221; on this topic.</p>
<p>&#8220;The real constitutional crisis is taking place within our judicial branch, where district court judges and liberal districts across the country are abusing their power to unilaterally block President Trump&#8217;s basic executive authority,&#8221; she explained, referring to injunctions on Trump&#8217;s spending freeze and his executive order on birthright citizenship.</p>
<p>Pressed by The Daily Wire, Leavitt said that the White House believes &#8220;that <span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">the injunctions that have been issued by these judges have no basis in the law and have no grounds.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">&#8220;We will again, as the president said very clearly yesterday, comply with these orders, but it is the administration&#8217;s position that we will ultimately be vindicated, and the president&#8217;s executive actions that he took were completely within the law, they were constitutional, and we look forward to the day whereimj he can continue to implement his agenda,&#8221; she told The Daily Wire.</span></p>

<p>She added: <span class="css-1jxf684 r-bcqeeo r-1ttztb7 r-qvutc0 r-poiln3">&#8220;I would just add that it&#8217;s our view that this is the continuation of the weaponization of justice that we have seen against President Trump. He fought it for two years on the campaign trail — it won&#8217;t stop him now.&#8221;</span></p>
<p>Trump also addressed some of these injunctions speaking from the Oval Office Tuesday, arguing that judges were trying to put a stop to his agenda: &#8220;We want to weed out the corruption, and it seems hard to believe that a judge could say, &#8216;we don&#8217;t want you to do that.&#8217; So maybe we have to look at the judges, because that&#8217;s very serious. I think it&#8217;s a very serious violation.&#8221;</p>
