Jennifer Lawrence is speaking frankly about her annoyances with co-stars. The 31-year-old Academy Award winner most recently worked on the satirical film “Don’t Look Up” alongside fellow A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio. But she certainly didn’t love every minute of working together.

The actress went on Stephen Colbert’s talk show to discuss her thoughts on filming the movie, and apparently they were not favorable.

“It was the most annoying day in my life,” the “Silver Linings Playbook” star revealed to Colbert. “They drove me crazy that day.”

When describing filming a scene in the car with DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet, Lawrence said: “I don’t know what it was… Timothée was just excited to be out of the house [after the pandemic lockdown]. I think it was, like, his first scene…. And Leo had picked the song that was playing in the car and was just, like, ‘You know, this song was about, you know, blah, blah, blah.’”

She continued, saying, “I just remember being in absolute misery that day….It was hell.”

Lawrence admitted that overall she thought working with her costars was “cool” except for that one very frustrating day.

Lawrence is making her return to the big screen after taking some time off to spend with her family. “I think the things I learned are so deep and profound … that I don’t want to tell you,” she told Colbert of her extended break from work. “I mean, it was really nice.”

Besides getting frustrated with her co-stars, Lawrence was pleased with the overall vibe on set. “I’ve always found comfort in a schedule and doing something and being somewhere, and just kind of the comfort of being on set where the world is one thing and very organized,” she said during the interview.

“I think coming out of the ‘Hunger Games’ and all of that, it was nice. I took a break and nobody really cared and it was quiet,” she continued. “I got to feel like I could become a part of the world again without fanfare. Literal fanfare.”

The movie “Don’t Look Up” is a thinly veiled satire about climate change. In it, two low-level astronomers discover that a comet is poised to destroy the earth, but they can’t get anyone to care about the impending disaster. Even the president worries about petty problems instead of dealing with the larger issue.

The Daily Wire reported that critics were not kind in reviewing the dark comedy, which comes from director Adam McKay of “Vice” and “The Big Short” fame.

Film critic Chris Evangelista of SlashFilm said: “… [H]ere the filmmaker has stumbled too far from the path, and he can no longer see the forest for the trees. He’s created a smug, shrill, obvious satire that has nothing to say other than ‘Humanity is screwed.’”

He continued, saying, “Don’t Look Up” is “an excuse for smug, self-righteous liberals to bask in how smart they are while everyone else is a dunce. This isn’t a movie with a message; it’s an excuse to point and laugh at the oblivious.”

“Don’t Look Up” premiered in theaters on December 10 and will be released on Netflix December 24.
