ISIS’s barbarity has no limits. According to one Syrian woman’s account, the group recently slaughtered 250 children in a horrifically brutal manner.
Syrian Alice Assaf told Dr. Yvette Isaac of the Roads of Success charity that she had witnessed numerous murders conducted by ISIS when they overtook her neighborhood. The Islamic terror group targeted Christians and soldiers of the Syrian army, and, according to Assaf, committed a particularly heinous act of mass murder at a bakery.
“We heard that the militants grabbed six strong men working at the bakery and burned them inside the oven,” Assaf said. “After that, they caught some 250 kids and kneaded them like dough in the bakery dough machine.”
All of the slaughtered children were four years old or younger.
Assaf recalled that ISIS killed her 18-year-old son after a neighbor had ratted out the fact they were hiding two soldiers from the Syrian army. Her son, George, would not acquiesce to ISIS’s demands for him to renounce his Christian faith, prompting the terrorists to beat him with their guns and eventually shot him dead in the backyard.
“I console myself with the fact that he died a true Christian,” Assaf cried as Isaac attempted to assuage Assaf’s evident grief.
What torments Assaf is that she does not know where her son’s body is. She hopes to one day bury him herself so she can visit his gravesite regularly.
ISIS has been committing genocide against Christians in the Middle East. Open Doors UK charity reports that “Christians in the region have been taken hostage, church leaders assassinated, homes and businesses destroyed and women and girls raped and forced into sexual slavery.” It is believed that 50 percent of Syria’s Christians have been forced to flee the country to spare themselves from ISIS’s evil.
