<p>Tennis legend <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trans-activist-claims-to-be-more-female-than-martina-navratilova-the-tennis-great-returns-serve" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Martina Navratilova</a> slammed Interior Secretary Deb Haaland after the Biden administration official posted a video alongside a drag queen for LGBT History Month.</p>
<p>&#8220;Is this a joke? The pathetic parody of women continues,&#8221; Navratilova <a href="https://twitter.com/Martina/status/1709237863093542966?s=20">posted</a> on X.</p>
<p>One person replied to the tennis legend that at one time &#8220;butch lesbians,&#8221; faced similar derision and that &#8220;we should all embrace each other.&#8221; The commenter suggested the person was not a &#8220;trans person,&#8221; but instead a &#8220;drag queen.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;And how exactly are we supposed to know the difference?&#8221; the tennis pro, who is a lesbian, replied. &#8220;And please do not compare males to butch females. Thank you.&#8221;</p>
<p>Another person claimed her criticism meant meant she was not part of the &#8220;LGBTQIA rights movement&#8221; and just wanted &#8220;to benefit from the work that others, including trans activists, have done to secure your rights.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Lol! Really?&#8221; the tennis star replied. &#8220;And which people would that be? Because I was on the front line before there was a front line. And you will never convince me to stop fighting for equal rights for women- thank you.&#8221;</p>
<p>The video Navratilova was responding to <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/sports/tennis-legend-martina-navratilova-slams-interior-secretarys-video-drag-queen-this-joke">featured</a> Haaland talking to &#8220;outdoor advocate and climate movement icon [Pattie Gonia] to discuss how places like [Stonewall National Monument] help tell our country&#8217;s full and honest story.&#8221;</p>
<p>In the video, the drag queen claimed &#8220;queer rights are more under attack than ever. And I think if we don&#8217;t acknowledge the past, we&#8217;re bound to repeat. So, at a place like Stonewall, this beautiful place, it&#8217;s a place where so much discrimination and hatred occurred against the queer community, but it&#8217;s also a place where resistance and queer joy and queer liberation happened.&#8221;</p>

<p>Navratilova has been very outspoken about trans-identifying males competing in female sports. She blasted trans-identifying athlete Lia Thomas after the swimmer said critics are pushing &#8220;transphobic beliefs&#8221; under the &#8220;guise of feminism.&#8221;</p>
