<p>Comedian <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/rob-schneider/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rob Schneider</a> announced on Monday that he was voting for Republican gubernatorial candidate <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/kari-lake/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kari Lake</a> in his new home state of Arizona — and took a swipe at his previous home in California for good measure.</p>
<p>Schneider explained in a tweet some of the reasons that he and his family had chosen to leave California — namely the stranglehold that the far left has on that state — and said that they had moved to the &#8220;free state of Arizona&#8221; in order to escape the further erosion of individual liberties they had experienced there.</p>
<p>&#8220;My family left California &amp; moved to the free state of Arizona because individual liberties were trampled in the guise of liberalism which was just disguised authoritarianism,&#8221; Schneider tweeted. &#8220;The lives of Americans have been made more difficult under these Dem run states. I’m voting for Kari Lake.&#8221;</p>

<p>Schneider also tossed a barb at incumbent Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D), mocking her use of the term &#8220;people with a period&#8221; to refer to women in a final pitch to voters as she seeks reelection on Tuesday.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s strangely reassuring that tyranny knows no gender as is exemplified by this biological female moron who refers to women as &#8216;people with a period,'&#8221; the comedian said. &#8220;Hopefully, by this time tomorrow night, this woman will be Michigan&#8217;s Ex-Biological Female Governor!&#8221;</p>

<p>Schneider has been <a href="https://dailywire.com/news/i-dont-care-about-my-career-rob-schneider-says-hes-absolutely-willing-to-lose-everything/">outspoken</a> in his opposition to draconian COVID policies – particularly vaccine mandates – and even told radio host Glenn Beck that he didn&#8217;t care if it cost him his career.</p>
<p>&#8220;Are you willing to lose it all for what you believe?&#8221; Beck asked Schneider during a late-August episode of &#8220;The Glenn Beck Podcast.&#8221;</p>
<p>Schneider did not even take a moment to think before he reacted: &#8220;Absolutely. Because if we don’t have it, then we have nothing.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I’m not — I don’t care about my career anymore. I care about my children and the country they’re going to live in,&#8221; Schneider continued.</p>
