Longtime “Today” show host Al Roker said he’s “incredibly grateful” that he’s finally home following his second hospitalization after initially being released in time to spend Thanksgiving with his family.
The 68-year-old weather personality updated fans with a post on Instagram that he’s once again home after being hospitalized for a series of blood clots that started in his legs and moved to his lungs before Thanksgiving.
“Home!” Roker captioned his post. “So incredibly grateful to family, friends, medical folks, [Today show] family and all your thoughts and prayers.”

His post included a series of photos showing him arriving home accompanied by his wife, Deborah Roberts, and their daughter Leila, Page Six reported.
On Thursday, Roker wrote in a social media post that he hoped to be home soon. He included what appeared to be a photo of a beautiful sunrise outside his hospital room window, as previously reported.
“Hopefully coming home soon but when your spirit sags a bit, you get to see that and recharge,” the TV personality wrote. “God Bless you all for all the prayers and well wishes for me and my family.”
On Thanksgiving, the weather personality posted photos on Instagram celebrating that he was finally out of the hospital after a blood clot in his leg “sent some clots into” his lungs.
“So much to be #thankful for on the [Thanksgiving Day],” the TV personality captioned his post. “Leaving the hospital and home for [Thanksgiving Dinner].”
However, Roker was rushed back to the hospital via ambulance on November 25 after falling ill just a day after being released.
Days later, the “Today” show confirmed that Roker was back in the hospital “due to some complications,” as they sent well wishes to their co-host.
