Illegal Alien Accused Of Murdering 5 Neighbors In Texas Was Deported 5 Times: Report
The 38-year-old illegal alien accused of murdering five of his neighbors in Cleveland, Texas, was previously deported from the U.S. five times, according to a new report.
Fox News reported that sources inside Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Francisco Oropesa was deported five times from 2009 to 2016.
Oropesa allegedly murdered five of his neighbors after they asked him to stop shooting his gun late at night because they had a baby trying to sleep.
“We asked him to be quiet ’cause my baby was scared,” the father of the child said in an interview. “I never thought that he would shoot. He went room to room, looking for people.”
“I have no words to describe what happened,” the father later added. “We are alive but there is no life. I was able to escape by a miracle.”
Officials identified the victims as Sonia Argentina Guzman, 25; Diana Velazquez Alvarado, 21; Julisa Molina Rivera, 31; Jonathan Casarez, 18; and Daniel Enrique Laso, 8.

Local and federal law enforcement officials said over the weekend that they have no leads on the whereabouts of the Mexican national.
“We do not know where he is,” said FBI special agent in charge James Smith. “We do not have any tips right now as to where he may be. Right now, we have zero leads.”

San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers said his office was offering a $55,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Oropesa. The FBI then announced that it was adding $25,000 to the reward.
Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott subsequently announced that the state would add an additional $50,000 to the reward, bringing the total to $130,000.
“Our hearts go out to the families and loved ones of the five victims that were taken in this senseless act of violence,” said Governor Abbott. “I continue working with state and local officials to ensure they have all available resources to respond to this horrific crime. I thank the men and women in law enforcement who are tirelessly working to ensure this criminal is caught and brought to justice.”
Abbott said that he notified Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Steve McCraw and Texas Military Department (MD) Adjutant General Thomas Suelzer to alert Operation Lone Star soldiers and troopers to be on the lookout for Oropesa and any attempts that he may make to cross the border back into Mexico.
