<p>Live Action founder <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/author/lila-rose" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lila Rose</a> took on a fuming <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/abortion" target="_blank" rel="noopener">abortion</a> activist, and many others, during a Monday appearance on &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/watch-matt-walsh-stumps-lgbt-activist-on-dr-phil-show-what-is-a-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dr. Phil</a>.&#8221;</p>
<p>Rose, one of the leading pro-life figures in the nation, was called a &#8220;traitor&#8221; to women and decried as lacking empathy by one pro-abortion activist in the audience. In her typical fashion, Rose responded calmly and with compassion for both women and the unborn.</p>
<p>“Lila, your views — you just want to legislate evil,” a female audience member told Rose, reacting to a story about a 10-year-old rape victim. &#8220;That&#8217;s really how it feels when you speak &#8230; I think you&#8217;re a traitor to your own.&#8221;</p>
<p>“There is nothing you could possibly say to justify that level of lack of empathy,” she continued. “We were founded on the lack of empathy, and we’ve just kept up on that tradition.”</p>
<p>“Abortion is devastating to women’s mental health,” Rose responded. “No one talks about that &#8230; The trauma is from the rape. The child is an innocent party there.&#8221;</p>
<p>The audience member claimed an unborn child actually doesn&#8217;t exist if it&#8217;s in the womb. “The child isn’t born yet — it’s not there,&#8221; she argued.</p>
<p>Rose continued to emphasize that laws should protect the most vulnerable — children, both in and out of the womb.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our fundamental human right that we all share in this room is life,&#8221; she explained. &#8220;It’s the first human right. Laws are meant to protect the weak. In a society, who’s the weakest? Who’s the weakest in society? A child. They don’t have a voice, they can’t speak.”</p>
<p>“Whether we live 10 minutes, 10 years, or 100 years, you’re a human life, and you have the right to not be killed,” Rose asserted. “And that’s what the pro-life fight is all about. That&#8217;s what we&#8217;re fighting for.&#8221;</p>

<p>The show focused on outlier abortion cases, including rape and life-threatening fetal anomalies, while the <a href="https://www.guttmacher.org/sites/default/files/pdfs/journals/3711005.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vast majority</a> of abortions are elective.</p>
<p>&#8220;Dr. Phil’s team chose to center the entire show around an extremely tragic case of a mother whose baby had a fetal anomaly that was life threatening,&#8221; Rose posted to Twitter following the airing of the show. &#8220;They made the focus of the episode her story, that she was &#8216;forced&#8217; to birth the baby instead of abort because of pro-life laws.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;&#8216;Carry my baby to bury my baby,&#8217; was the line used,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;What they never acknowledged is that abortion kills a baby and that the baby would still need to be buried &#8211; or thrown away in medical waste. The reality is abortion doesn’t solve or heal or any problem— it only kills a baby.&#8221;</p>
