Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA) blew off a reporter in a Capitol Hill hallway, claiming that she didn&#8217;t know anything about <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/2-venezuelan-illegal-aliens-who-came-in-under-biden-charged-with-murdering-young-girl-in-texas" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jocelyn Nungaray</a> — the 12-year-old girl who was allegedly raped and murdered by illegal aliens — because she lives in Pittsburgh.
Lee made it clear during the brief encounter — a clip of which appeared on Fox News on Wednesday — that she could not get away from the reporter fast enough, and she kept repeating her claim that she did not know anything because she lives in Pittsburgh.

The reporter, waiting for Lee as she approached in the hallway, said, &#8220;Can I ask you quickly about the 12-year-old girl in Houston that was tortured —&#8221;
Lee waved her hand in the reporter&#8217;s direction and interrupted, &#8220;Oh, I don&#8217;t talk to strangers. I don&#8217;t even know who you are, I don&#8217;t know who she is, I live in Pittsburgh.&#8221;
&#8220;Ok, but there was a child who was —&#8221; the reporter tried again, only to be interrupted once more.

&#8220;You don&#8217;t know about the child that was killed by illegal immigrants?&#8221; the reporter asked, but Lee was already gone.
Two illegal immigrants from Venezuela have been charged in Nungaray&#8217;s brutal murder. According to court documents, Johan Jose Rangel Martinez, 21, and Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, &#8220;lured&#8221; the 12-year-old &#8220;under a bridge,&#8221; after which they &#8220;remained with her for over two hours, took her pants off, tied her up and killed her, then threw her body into the bayou.&#8221;
Both Martinez and Ramos reportedly illegally entered the United States recently and were released into the interior of the country by the Biden administration after being given notices to appear by border officials.

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell ripped into legacy media on Sunday, accusing outlets of fueling the &#8220;Iranian propaganda machine&#8221; because they were so desperate to smear President Donald Trump that they were willing to accept any collateral damage that followed — even if the majority of the damage landed on American service members.
Parnell showcased a headline from The Washington Post that cast doubt on the success of the recent strikes carried out by American service members against Iranian nuclear sites — strikes that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and President Trump, backed by multiple intelligence sources, had declared to be unqualified successes.

Pentagon Spox Rips Into Media’s ‘Weaponized Smear Campaign’ Against American Troops

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) irritated members of his own party by complaining about Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer&#8217;s (D-NY) move to force a clerk to read President Donald Trump&#8217;s One Big, Beautiful Bill in its entirety — and then complaining that the extra time spent on Capitol Hill had resulted in him missing out on a family vacation.
Schumer forced the move on Saturday, saying, &#8220;I will object to Republicans moving forward on their Big, Ugly Bill without reading it on the Senate floor. Republicans won’t tell America what’s in the bill. So Democrats are forcing it to be read start to finish on the floor. We will be here all night if that’s what it takes to read it.&#8221;
Fetterman made it clear that he was unhappy with the move from the start, saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s not like it&#8217;s pathetic to force the clerk to read it or anything.&#8221;

The delay apparently put the Pennsylvania senator off his family vacation at the beach, another development that left him none too pleased.
&#8220;Oh my God, I just want to go home,” the Pennsylvania Democrat told reporters on Monday. “I’ve already missed our entire trip to the beach, my family&#8217;s going to be back before we do … I’m going to vote no. There’s no drama that — we know [how] the votes are going to go. The only interesting votes are going to be on the margins, whether that&#8217;s Collins or Johnson, but all the Democrats, we all know how that&#8217;s going to go &#8230; I don’t think it’s really helpful to put people here until some ungodly hour.&#8221;

Critics then turned on Fetterman, complaining that he was so worried about a family vacation that he didn&#8217;t care about working for the people who elected him.
Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) said, &#8220;There is always dignity in fighting for the American people. We should be here fighting for the American people. I don&#8217;t care if it takes a month.&#8221;

Fetterman Trashes Dems Who Forced Reading Of Budget Bill, Making Him Miss Family Beach Trip

The sex-trafficking trial of disgraced music mogul Sean &#8220;Diddy&#8221; Combs ground to screeching halt on Monday, just one hour after the jury began deliberating, when the jurors slipped a note to Manhattan Federal Court Judge Arun Subramanian questioning whether or not &#8220;Juror 25&#8221; would be able to carry out his civic duty.
The note, sent to Subramanian around 12:40 p.m. local time, stated that the majority was unsure of said juror&#8217;s ability to adhere to the judge&#8217;s instructions — but it did not give any indication as to why they believed that was the case.
&#8220;We have a juror, ‘Juror 25,’ who we believe cannot follow your honor&#8217;s instructions,&#8221; the note said, according to a report published Monday by the New York Post.

The juror&#8217;s name was not revealed, but the Post described him as &#8220;a 51-year-old man with a thick European accent,&#8221; and noted that he works as a scientist in Manhattan and holds an advanced degree in molecular biology.
A live report from CourtTV stated that during jury selection, the juror revealed he&#8217;d seen the video of Combs attacking then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and said that &#8220;he had formed an opinion about that particular video,&#8221; but said at the time that he would be able to &#8220;set his opinion aside&#8221; when it came time to discuss the case.

The foreperson requested the chance to speak with the judge personally — or, if that was not possible, suggested that the judge should interview Juror 25.
Combs&#8217; trial came to an end on Friday after seven weeks of testimony and evidence, and the jury began deliberating at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. The rapper and music producer has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; transportation to engage in prostitution; and racketeering — and could spend up to life in prison if he&#8217;s convicted on any one of the three biggest charges against him.
Thus far, the judge has directed the jury to continue deliberations until further notice.

‘Democrats Are Doubling Down On Craziness’: Leavitt Smokes Zohran Mamdani In Daily Presser

Actor John Cusack abandoned all efforts at self-preservation when he declared that Iran &#8220;should get&#8221; a nuclear weapon and claimed that doing so would be &#8220;the only way&#8221; to truly keep the United States and Israel in check.
Cusack, who has often been critical of administrations run by both major political parties, claims first and foremost to be &#8220;anti-war&#8221; — a position he describes more as &#8220;pro-troops and pro-human&#8221; because he&#8217;d prefer to see all troops returned home and an end to the killing. Despite that position, he took to X on Friday to argue that the world&#8217;s largest state sponsor of terror should have access to the most dangerous weapon in existence — even though Iran has <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/06/19/world/middleeast/israel-nuclear-iran-threat.html">called</a> for Israel to be &#8220;wiped off the map&#8221; and frequently uses &#8220;death to America&#8221; as a rallying cry.

&#8220;Iran will surely rush to get a nuclear weapon — and they should get one — it’s the only way to deter US and Israel from bombing every country in Middle East,&#8221; Cusack posted just days after the United States military executed targeted strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
The American strikes, in combination with a series of attacks carried out by the Israel Defense Forces against military and nuclear targets in Iran, were all aimed at the same objective: preventing a rogue Islamist state from acquiring nuclear weapons. In response to the attacks, Iran fired missiles indiscriminately at civilian populations in Israel, attempting to overwhelm the Iron Dome&#8217;s defense capabilities – and, in some cases, succeeding.
Cusack&#8217;s commentary over the last several years has been blatantly anti-Israel. He has repeatedly claimed that the situation in Gaza amounts to a genocide, <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/john-cusack-rejects-antisemitism-accusations-as-complete-lies/">denying</a> mass rape perpetrated by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, who slaughtered 1,200 Israelies and sparked the ongoing war.
He also referred to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as &#8220;a murderous gangster&#8221; — but had no such words for the terrorists who entered Israeli homes, <a href="https://www.ynetnews.com/culture/article/sknpqcl5a">labeling</a> Hamas as a &#8220;charity organization&#8221; in past posts on X. He made no mention of the Israelis who remain hostage in Gaza, subjected to as yet unknown tortures at the hands of their Iranian-backed captors.

‘It’s The Only Way’: Hollywood Weirdo Says Iran ‘Should Get’ Nuke, Use It To ‘Stop’ U.S. And Israel

When self-described Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani won the New York City mayoral Democratic primary, critics on both sides of the aisle began to wake up to just how problematic his meteoric rise could be.
For those who don&#8217;t spend their Sunday mornings glued to the television — and their Sunday afternoons attempting to dig through a week&#8217;s worth of network and cable news media spin — The Daily Wire has compiled a short summary of what you may have missed.
The topic of conversation on many of the Sunday morning political shows — in addition to some conversation about Iran and the ongoing battle surrounding President Donald Trump&#8217;s &#8220;One Big Beautiful Bill&#8221; — revolved around Mamdani, his history and proposed policies, and how mainstream Democrats who wanted to keep their House and Senate seats could go about responding to his win.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), for example, appeared to be uncomfortable when pressed on whether or not he intended to endorse Mamdani in the upcoming general election. It&#8217;s certainly possible that Jeffries hesitated because there may be three Democrats running — current Mayor Eric Adams, who won as a Democrat, has announced an independent bid for reelection; and disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY), who lost to Mamdani in the primary, left the door wide open for a third party run. It&#8217;s also possible that Jeffries, who represents a district that is 11% Jewish, has concerns about Mamdani&#8217;s support for BDS — &#8220;Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions&#8221; — against Israel or his claim that, as mayor, he would have Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrested if he came to New York City.
On ABC News&#8217; &#8220;This Week,&#8221; host Jonathan Karl asked Jeffries to weigh in on Mamdani.
&#8220;I congratulated him on the campaign that he ran, a campaign that clearly was relentlessly focused on the high cost of living in New York City and the economy. He outworked, he out-communicated, and he out-organized the opposition, and that&#8217;s clearly why he was successful,&#8221; Jeffries said — but added that he didn&#8217;t know the Democratic Socialist well enough to make an endorsement.
&#8220;Well, our districts don&#8217;t overlap. I have never had a substantive conversation with him. And so that&#8217;s the next step in terms of this process to discuss his vision for moving the city forward and addressing the issues that are important to the communities that I represent,&#8221; he said, and called on Mamdani directly to &#8220;clarify&#8221; his position on Israel.

Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) was far more conciliatory toward Mamdani, arguing that Democrats should learn from the way he made his case on economic inequality — primarily by offering his voters things like rent freezes and &#8220;free&#8221; public transportation.

Mamdani himself joined host Kristen Welker on NBC News&#8217; &#8220;Meet the Press,&#8221; where he doubled down on policy proposals that would shift the tax burden to &#8220;whiter&#8221; neighborhoods. When Welker pressed him on that, Mamdani claimed that he was simply &#8220;describing&#8221; the demographics as they were, not suggesting that white people should be taxed more.
&#8220;It&#8217;s not driven by race,&#8221; he claimed. &#8220;I&#8217;m just naming things as they are.&#8221;

Given the fact that his tax plan also calls for higher taxes on top earners, Welker asked Mamdani whether he believed billionaires had a &#8220;right to exist.&#8221; Mamdani, laughing, said that he did not believe billionaires should exist &#8220;because, frankly, it is so much money in a moment of such inequality.&#8221;

Welker also pressed Mamdani on his apparent stance with regard to Israel, asking several times whether he&#8217;d condemn the phrase &#8220;globalize the intifada,&#8221; which she correctly identified as a call to violence against Jews — and while Mamdani insisted that those were not his chosen words, he did not outright condemn the phrase.
&#8220;Do you condemn that phrase, &#8216;Globalize the Intifada?'&#8221; Welker asked, and asked again a short time later when it was clear he was not answering: &#8220;But do you actually condemn it &#8230; which a lot of people hear as a call to violence against Jews?&#8221;
&#8220;For the people who &#8230; feel really concerned by that phrase, why not just condemn it?&#8221;
Mamdani said a lot of words in his response to Welker&#8217;s query, but none of them were, &#8220;Yes, of course, I condemn it.&#8221;

So what&#8217;s to be done? Democratic strategist James Carville warned that Mamdani&#8217;s primary win signaled trouble for New York City, but still seemed hopeful that the &#8220;Communist lunatic&#8221; — that&#8217;s according to President Trump&#8221; — could still be stopped on his way to Gracie Mansion.
&#8220;There’s a lot of baseball left here. We’ve got a lot of baseball left to play,&#8221; he said.
