While campaigning for her mother, Chelsea Clinton opted for a private jet over a five-hour drive or a commercial airplane when traveling from an event in Greenville, North Carolina to a “clean energy” roundtable in Asheville.
Oh, the irony.
“Clinton first attended two events in Greenville, North Carolina, stopping by a campaign office and then going to an event at East Carolina University to discuss college affordability,” reports The Washington Free Beacon. “After her two events in Greenville, Clinton was scheduled to attend a ‘clean energy roundtable’ in Asheville, which is about a 5-hour drive away. But instead of driving or flying on a commercial plane, Clinton opted to a take a private jet.”
On Wednesday, the NTK Network posted a video of Chelsea boarding the private jet.
Adding to the hypocrisy, the Hillary campaign reportedly “pledged last year they would be carbon neutral on the trail and that they would be ‘offsetting the carbon footprint of the campaign and that includes travel.’ The Clinton team has yet to fulfill this promise, however, as the campaign is using private jets to travel to events,” notes The Washington Free Beacon.
But there’s more: Hillary has expressed over and over just how catastrophic man-made global warming is, and how we must do everything in our power to stop it—including pouring tens of billions of tax-payer dollars to combat the problem if Hillary is to win the White House.
But, like usual, the supposedly catastrophic issue of man-made global warming is dedicated for us peasants to address with our pocketbooks, while the Clinton camp opts for gas-guzzling private jets to travel to their roundtables for discussions on the issue.
