Radio shock jock Howard Stern has been sharing his blunt opinions on COVID-19 and how to handle it all along. Now the 67-year-old radio host is offering his services to “solve” the pandemic while blaming “f***ing morons” who remain unvaccinated for prolonging the “mess.”
“Believe me, this here is turning into a third-world country because of the f***ing morons we have living here,” Stern said on his SiriusXM radio show Tuesday while discussing a staffer’s recent trip to Panama. “It’s a sad commentary on my country.”
“This is my country. I’ve got too many morons living here. We could be past a lot of this COVID business,” Stern continued.
“You were all about freedom until the morons got ahold of the place,” co-host Robin Quivers added.
“Now I’m not into freedom,” Stern quipped as the others laughed. “I don’t feel good about what’s going on in my country. I might have to run just to clean this f***ing mess up.”
“I could clean it up in two seconds,” Stern bragged to the audience. “Just the way [President] Biden got us out of Afghanistan — that quick I’m going to clean things up. Boom. Right away.”
Meanwhile, Biden has been heavily criticized for his handling of the United States withdrawing from Afghanistan. The act left 13 U.S. soldiers dead in a terrorist attack at the airport in Kabul, plus thousands of allies stranded in the country as the Taliban took back control.
Stern’s comments come after he slammed Oprah Winfrey on Monday for hosting Christmas parties at her house even as cases of the new Omicron variant are increasing. “I’m really amazed by Oprah, I really am. On her Instagram she likes to take you into her house where every night of Christmas is a big party like a celebration and she flies in a different chef,” the radio host said.
“It’s getting very confusing to me,” he continued. “I see what’s going on with COVID. Everyone’s got it. Everyone’s sick. People have a 104 fever. I don’t want to have a 104 fever, I don’t want to get sick so I’m hiding. But everyone else is out running around. I see Oprah is having dinner parties.”
Oprah has made it clear that she only associates with vaccinated individuals, but that’s not enough for the “Private Parts” actor. And as for anyone who chooses to remain unvaccinated or rely on natural immunity, Stern is even more disgusted.
On his Tuesday show, Stern brought up former “General Hospital” star Ingo Rademacher, who was allegedly fired from the soap after vaccine mandates were rolled out.
“Is he crazy?” Stern asked. “It’s insanity.”
In the past, the Sirius host has slammed pro athletes Kyrie Irving and Aaron Rodgers for choosing not to get vaccinated. He’s also said “F*** them. F*** their freedom” about anyone not getting vaccinated and expressed his support for vaccine mandates.
This isn’t the first time Stern threatened to run for president either, and he specifically said he could win against Donald Trump if the former president chose to run in 2024.
“There’s no way I’d lose,” Stern said of the idea in November.
