The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday that the home of Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is part of a crime scene following reports that a minor was shot on the property.

“At 8:25pm on March 6th, Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 7900 block of Ayers Rd. in Anderson Township for a report of shots fired,” law enforcement said in a statement. “A juvenile was transported to Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. HCSO deputies conducted a search warrant for a home in the 7900 block, and were able to gather evidence that will be part of this active investigation.”

“Our detectives will continue to review this evidence diligently and conduct interviews,” the statement continued. “We hope to provide a more comprehensive update to the investigation later this week. We can confirm that part of the crime scene involves a home connected to Bengals player Joe Mixon. That is all we have to release at this time.”

TMZ reported that police officers came across several minors who were “doing dart wars” when they arrived at the home.
