<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood</a> reacted to the news Wednesday of the death of Tina Turner, calling her &#8220;iconic,&#8221; &#8220;legendary,&#8221; and so much more.
The official Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/tinaturner/status/1661463646139023362?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">account</a> for the legendary singer tweeted, &#8220;It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner.” The singer battled health issues in recent years, including intestinal cancer, a stroke, and needing a kidney transplant, <a href="https://people.com/music/tina-turner-dead/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People magazine</a> reported. She died &#8220;peacefully&#8221; at her home near Zurich in Switzerland after a long illness, publicist Bernard Doherty confirmed.
&#8220;With her music and boundless passion for life, she enchanted fans worldwide and inspired future stars,&#8221; the message added. &#8220;We say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us her greatest work; her music. Tina, we will miss you dearly.&#8221;
Shortly after the news broke, celebrities like Diana Ross, Tom Jones, Mariah Carey, and others took to social media share their memories of the &#8220;Rock and Roll Hall of Fame&#8221; singer.
&#8220;Shocked. Saddened. Sending condolences to Tina Turner&#8217;s family and loved ones,&#8221; Ross tweeted, along with a photo of the two at an event.

A private funeral ceremony will be &#8220;attended by close friends and family. Please respect the privacy of her family at this difficult time,&#8221; a statement from Turner&#8217;s publicist added.
