Here Are The Top 11 Worst Twitter Reactions To Roger Ailes’ Death

   DailyWire.com

Roger Ailes, the former CEO of Fox News, has passed away at the age of 77. Because we live in an age of hyper-partisan tribalism, many leftists on Twitter have been distastefully celebrating Ailes’ death in a major sign of disrespect toward Ailes’ grieving family.

Here are the top 11 worst Twitter reactions to Ailes’ death.

1. John Niven used some very explicit language toward Ailes, his family and Fox News. The writer tweeted out the following:

It’s not enough for Niven to throw cuss words at Ailes, he had to lob some at his grieving family too. That is beyond the pale.

2. Marc Lamont Hill gave his condolences, but not to Ailes.

Washington Free Beacon reporter Alex Griswold put Lamont Hill in his place:

3. Daily Kos social media editor Jennifer Hayden tweeted her glee about Ailes’ death and talked down to people who called her out on it.

Hayden wasn’t done:

And then she had the gall to use the term “snowflakes”:

Leftists have a bad habit of co-opting the term “snowflakes” when people call them out for saying things that legitimately cross the line.

4. New Republic editor Jeet Heer went on a Twitter rant against Ailes’ political views.

Heer doubled down when he was called out for his tasteless tweet:

Of course, this is a man who devoted a lengthy thread toward Norman Podhoretz and masturbation, so there’s probably a screw loose somewhere.

5. Slate editor Sam Adams openly celebrated Ailes’ death and then deleted his tweet.

As The Daily Wire‘s Elliott Hamilton likes to say, “Here’s your daily reminder that Slate is garbage.”

6. Writer Charles Clymer lashed out at Ailes’ character in gross terms.

The Left seems to like lobbing cuss words at people with whom they have political disagreements.

7. Huffington Post editor Sam Stein couldn’t help but trash Ailes.

Of course, The Huffington Post at large seems to be celebrating Ailes’ death, which is both reprehensible and hypocritical:

8. Business Insider editor Josh Barro also got in on the act.

The “making people dumber and angrier” is a classic example of the pot calling the kettle black.

9. Comedian Travon Free, who has worked with Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and The Daily Show tweeted that Ailes is in Hell.

10. Toronto Star sports columnist Bruce Arthur tweeted out that Ailes “was a comprehensively bad person.”

11. Politico‘s Jack Shafer tweeted that it was perfectly fine to say nasty things about Ailes.

Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro smacked down all the leftists who were tweeting their joy about Ailes’ death:

The thing is that despite Ailes’ political views and the sexual harassment allegations against him, Ailes was a beloved figure to many people who are in mourning right now. Whatever your political beliefs may be, it should be common courtesy to let Ailes’ loved ones grieve and not exacerbate their pain by tweeting nasty things about the man. But in an age where tribalism reigns supreme, such common courtesy seems to have fallen by the wayside.
