Harry’s, the razor company whose defense of gender insanity sparked the launch of Jeremy’s Razors, is trying hard to appeal to men, but it still doesn’t get it. 

In Harry’s newest ad, the company seeks to reach the last remaining holdouts who remain skeptical of the razor, but in doing so, Harry’s might have turned more men away from their new design. Unfortunate viewers see Harry’s founders, Jeff Raider and Andy Katz-Mayfield, front and center in a glossy, heavily produced ad that drags on longer than a dull blade on stubble. Out of nowhere, the duo, in a move no one asked for, decides to shave each other’s faces. 

As if the visual wasn’t jarring enough, the narrator chimes in with a silky voice, waxing poetic about Harry’s delivering the “comfortablest shave ever.” Comfortable? Try cringe-inducing. The image of Harry’s founders locked in this bizarre barber bromance is the stuff of nightmares, not marketing genius.

They want a razor that cuts clean, feels solid, and doesn’t come with a side of ideological baggage or awkward imagery. Men shave in the quiet of their bathrooms, seeking solitude and simplicity — not sitting face-to-face with another grown man inches away from them. 

The contrast couldn’t be starker. While Harry’s flounders with its tone-deaf attempt at relatability, Jeremy’s Razors stands tall, unapologetic, and laser-focused on what men actually want: a no-nonsense shave that skips the weird stunts.

Harry’s is for guys who shave each other. Jeremy’s is for guys who aren’t looking for a bathroom buddy.
