A Hamas commander who led the terrorists’ slaughter of more than 1,300 Israelis has been killed by Israel in an airstrike, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

Ali Qadi, the command of Hamas’ “Nakba Force,” led the terrorists as they invaded Israel last Saturday and murdered Israelis, even targeting children and infants. The IDF said Saturday morning that Qadi had been “eliminated” by Israeli aircraft using intelligence gathered by the Military Intelligence Directorate, according to the Jerusalem Post.

“Ali Qadi led the inhumane, barbaric October 7 massacre of civilians in Israel. We just eliminated him. All Hamas terrorists will meet the same fate,” the IDF said in a statement posted to X.

According to Israeli officials, Qadi was arrested by the IDF in 2005 for the “kidnapping and murder” of Israelis, but the terrorist was freed in a prisoner exchange in 2011, The Washington Times reported. Israeli military officials also said that its forces had killed Merad Abu Merad, the head of Hamas’ aerial system.

Hamas terrorists killed over 1,300 people after invading Israel last Saturday, slaughtering Israeli families. Over the course of the week, the scale of Hamas’ atrocities against the Israelis has become more evident. During their attack, the terrorists targeted the most vulnerable, including raping and killing young women and slaughtering children and infants.

Israel has responded with around-the-clock bombing of Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip as the Israeli military has told civilians in Gaza to flee. The civilians, however, have been prevented by Hamas from leaving the territory, and the terrorists are known for using innocent civilians — even young children and babies — as shields. Hamas also kidnapped around 150 people, including Israelis and Americans, and is now holding them hostage in the Gaza Strip.

Footage released by the IDF showed elite commandos rescuing 250 hostages held by Hamas inside of Israel near the Gaza Strip.

“The Flotilla 13 elite unit was deployed to the area surrounding the Gaza security fence in a joint effort to regain control of the Sufa military post on October 7th,” the IDF said in a statement. “The soldiers rescued around 250 hostages alive.”

“60+ Hamas terrorists were neutralized and 26 were apprehended—including Muhammad Abu A’ali the Deputy Commander of the Hamas southern Naval Division,” the IDF added.
