Remember when Glamour magazine honored a biological man with their Woman of the Year award? Well, they are par for the course this year, too, naming known anti-Semite and Sharia law apologist Linda Sarsour to their 2017 “Women of the Year” list.
Yay, “intersectionality,” or whatever the hell.
On Monday, Glamour announced that they are honoring the women who sparked a “movement” with their organizing of the dreadful, no-pro-lifers-allowed Women’s March on Washington in the wake of the election of President Donald Trump.
You know, that “protest” where pro-abortion women rocked those classy female genitalia hats and Madonna talked about her fantasies of blowing up the White House. #Feminism.
“Woman of the Year” Sarsour has, oddly enough, advocated for Sharia law and attacked women she disagrees with over their womanhood.
Here’s a few of her pro-Sharia law hot-takes:
In 2011, Sarsour wrote: “Sharia law is reasonable and once u read into the details it makes a lot of sense. People just know the basics.”
As for attacking women personally, the Islamic activist viciously went after Muslim reformer and female genital mutilation victim Ayaan Hirsi Ali, suggesting she have her vagina “taken away.” She also said Brigitte Gabriel, another critic of Islamism, deserves “an ass whooping.”
Can you feel the woman empowerment?
And, Sarsour is a first class anti-Semite! Here’s a taste of that, as reported by The Daily Wire:
Sarsour’s hate for Israel has even caused her to tweet out a photo of a Palestinian child preparing to stone Israel Defense Forces with the caption “The definition of courage. #Palestine.”
Additionally, Sarsour has called Zionism “creepy” and stated that it’s not compatible with feminism.
“It just doesn’t make any sense for someone to say, ‘Is there room for people who support the state of Israel and do not criticize it in the movement?'” Sarsour told The Nation. “There can’t be in feminism. You either stand up for the rights of all women, including Palestinians, or none. There’s just no way around it.”
Way to go, Glamour!
