Acclaimed actor <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/jon-voight" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jon Voight</a> rallied with Trump supporters at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., on Sunday ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
Voight celebrated Trump’s November victory over Vice President Kamala Harris, calling the election outcome “the greatest win of all time.”
“What an honor it is for me to be up here in front of you great men and women who&#8217;ve all come here to celebrate the greatest win of all time – the greatest win of all time, the victory we were all fighting for to save our country, our democracy,” Voight said to resounding cheers. “And I&#8217;m so grateful that I&#8217;m able to say that Donald J. Trump is the 47th President of the United States of America.”
He went on to say that Trump would make the United States “thrive again, he will make America great again, safe again.”
“Donald J. Trump fought hard to save this country, and now he will bring God back to our nation&#8217;s truths. He will make her thrive again. He will save the greatest country, America the beautiful,” Voight said.

Voight’s remarks lasted about three-and-a-half minutes and followed soon after a performance by Kid Rock, which featured a recorded message from Trump urging rally-goers to “make America rock again.”
“God bless Donald Trump, and may God watch over him, and may he be sworn into the White House with the blessings of the Almighty. God bless, God bless everybody. It&#8217;s great to be with you. Much love,” Voight said as he walked off the stage, making room for one of Trump’s longtime advisers and staffers, Stephen Miller.

Trump will take the presidential oath again and be sworn into office around noon on Monday. Officials have moved the inauguration ceremony into the Capitol building because of frigid weather expected on the day of the event. The traditional parade for the inauguration has been canceled, though officials are reportedly considering having Trump take his first actions as president, signing a slate of executive orders, from a stage set up in Capital One arena.
Prior to the rally, Trump visited Arlington National Cemetery and took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was Trump’s first visit to Arlington since taking part in a memorial for the 13 soldiers who died during the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021.
