Gisele Bundchen definitely got everyone’s attention on Sunday when she wrote in an Instagram post about how “nothing is permanent” following her divorce from Super Bowl-winning QB Tom Brady.
In her message, the 42-year-old retired Victoria’s Secret model told her 21 million followers about how she’s learning from “bad experiences” and trying to enjoy the good ones.
“We all have our fair shares of trials,” Bundchen wrote. “Every laugh, every fall, every experience, the good and the bad, everything is here to teach us something and help us grow.”
“Nothing is permanent,” she added. “So let’s enjoy the good moments and learn from the bad ones. Every day is a gift!”

The post follows another more cryptic one only days earlier that read, “The same storm that knocks down the leaves, also makes the seeds sprout.”
Bundchen previously opened up to Vanity Fair, in her cover story for March, about the divorce as she responded to rumors about what led to her recent split from the retired NFL star after 13 years of marriage, as previously reported.
“When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together,” Bündchen explained. “As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make.”
“That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person,” she added. “It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.”
“When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, ‘You have to live this life,'” she continued. “You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing.”
In October, Brady confirmed reports that he and Bündchen were officially divorced after weeks of speculation that their marriage was over. Bündchen and Brady share two kids.
