The West’s self-induced castration is nearly complete. Political correctness and multiculturalism have infected the powerful ruling class in both in Europe and the United States to such an extent that the oppressed are ignored for the sake of the oppressor. Following the Islamic terror attack on Berlin last Monday, one German politician even went out of his way to make sure that police didn’t circulate photos of the Muslim terrorist out of fear that such images could exacerbate supposed Islamophobia, a politicized term that has become a catch-all phrase to preemptively dismiss any and all criticism of Islamic theology.
The Daily Mail reports that the head of Hamburg, Germany’s judicial authority, Till Steffen, prevented law enforcers in Hamburg from releasing pictures of Anis Amri, despite him being the most wanted man in the world after Monday’s terror attack.”
“Police were able to give a description of the killer but not show the public what he looked like because of privacy concerns,” The Mail adds. “The Green politician only granted an exception after a call from the newspaper, following a 12 hour delay. Amri was later killed by Italian police after he fled the country.”
As The Daily Wire noted last week, terror analysts and national experts were bewildered at Germany’s slowness to release information regarding the Berlin Christmas market attack, despite the presence of multiple witnesses.
It looks like there may be an explanation now. Berlin’s suicidal political correctness has been a problem ever since Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the floodgates to nearly 900,000 Muslim asylum-seekers from predominately Islamic countries.
The German political elite’s latest attempts to obscure the reality of radical Islam may have gone too far, however. This time, police are pushing back.
“It is incomprehensible that investigating authorities are thrown such truncheons,” Joachim Lenders, chairman of Hamburg’s regional police force, said, according to Germany’s Bild newspaper.
The ruling class’s unwillingness to offend the Muslim community is coming back to bite them.
Far-right politicians, namely from Germany’s AfD party, are gaining more popular by the day and getting closer to the levers of power.
Without a doubt, Merkel’s political grip on Berlin is waning as the German mothers and fathers clutch their children closer out of fear that the next successful jihadist may be lurking near the refugee quarters right around the corner.
