In the three weeks since rapper Kid Rock confirmed his plans to run for Senate, he’s outlined his philosophy:
He’s taunted his potential Democratic opponent, Senator Debbie Stabenow (MI):
Two polls show him beating not only Stabenow, but all of his Republican primary rivals:
From July 14-18, “Delta Analytica conducted a poll…of 668 Michigan residents. Of respondents who stated a preference between Debbie Stabenow and Robert Ritchie, 54% stated they would vote for Ritchie while 46% said they would vote for Debbie Stabenow.”
That said, 44% of respondents were ultimately undecided, which is a substantial number.

On Friday, a poll from Robert C. Cahaly showed Kid Rock crushing his primary opponents, and narrowly beating Stabenow:
There was a time when a Kid Rock candidacy would not have been possible, or even conceivable. However, we live in a post-Trump world, a world in which the White House communications chief freely says things like: “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own c***.” So here we are.
On Sunday, the rapper tweeted the following:
As of this publication, there’s no explanation as to what’s going on in the photo provided. The Senate candidate appears to be on a private plane with scantily clad women in the background, flipping off the camera.

Lest anyone think Kid Rock is unqualified, the rapper himself once said: “Who holds it down like Bad Leroy Brown? Now I won’t stop cause yo I’m Kid Rock, the Genuine Article.”
