On Friday, CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin had a special snowflake-style meltdown when FOX Sports analyst Clay Travis said, “I only believe in two things completely: the First Amendment and boobs.” The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra wrote about the incident.
This is a clear case of hypocrisy when it comes to the Left. As Baldwin complains about Travis, she is forgetting her own cheering on of a failed comedian chanting about nipples.
During CNN’s 2017 New Year’s Eve coverage, Baldwin became gleeful as former co-host Kathy Griffin chanted, “Nipple, nipple, nipple, nipple!”
Though fellow correspondents Don Lemon and Anderson Cooper were clearly made uncomfortable by the former comedian’s chanting, Baldwin declared, “Kathy, I love you!”
Watch the incident below:
The incident started when a tattoo artist approached Lemon and Baldwin.
Lemon could not decide whether to get some ink or a piercing. He turned to Griffin saying that Cooper, “would lead him astray.”
Griffin began to chant, “Nipple, nipple, nipple, nipple,” prompting approval from Baldwin.
Cooper immediately warned, “Don’t do it, Don.”
Griffin was fired from CNN following a publicity stunt involving her holding up a fake bloody head of President Donald Trump. She received nearly universal criticism, even from leftists, including former New Year’s Eve co-host Cooper. Though she initially apologized, she has since walked back those comments saying that she was surprised by how many people, including Chelsea Clinton, saw it as disgusting.
Though Baldwin criticized Travis for his statement on Friday, the sports analyst took to Twitter to announce that CNN had asked him to come back on.
