A promotional video featuring a handful of female Democrats taking fight stances — while theme music from the Super Smash Brothers video game plays in the background — got absolutely trashed by critics.
In the video, which was originally posted on TikTok by influencer Sulhee Jessica Woo, also featured several female Democratic House members along with their &#8220;stats&#8221; — each of whom was shown posturing or shadowboxing for several seconds.

Woo superimposed angel wings on herself to kick off the video, listing her own stats as follows: &#8220;bento box queen; mommy of the century; sleep deprived.&#8221; Her post also included the hashtags, &#8220;#womenshistorymonth, #womenwhofight, #fighter, #savedemocracy, and #girlpower.&#8221;
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) appeared next, along with her stats: &#8220;New York&#8217;s 14th Congressional District; youngest women + Latina to be elected to the House; Trekkie.&#8221;
Next came Rep. Lauren Underwood (D-IL), who was described as the &#8220;youngest black woman ever elected to Congress; cofounded the black maternal office,&#8221; and &#8220;hates balloons.&#8221;
The video went on to describe Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA), the House Minority Whip, as being from Massachusetts&#8217; 5th Congressional District and noted that she was &#8220;not into hair dye.&#8221;
Rep. Judy Chu (D-CA) was described as &#8220;too sweet,&#8221; and the post noted that she was the first Chinese-American woman elected to Congress.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) had the following stats listed: &#8220;Texas&#8217; 30th Congressional District; Public defender + attorney; not a morning person.&#8221;
The video concluded with Rep. Susie Lee (D-NV), who serves Nevada&#8217;s 3rd Congressional District, is &#8220;President of Communities in Schools of Nevada,&#8221; and apparently has &#8220;2 sprained fingers.&#8221;
Critics were not impressed with the attempt, however, and made it clear in their responses on X.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), for example, responded to the video with an application to clown college.
