The FBI prevented a potentially “violent terrorist attack” planned for Halloween weekend and arrested multiple people in Michigan, FBI Director Kash Patel said on Friday morning.
“The FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend,” Patel wrote in a post on X.
Patel did not disclose where exactly the attack was planned to take place or who was allegedly behind it, but he added that more details would be released soon.
The FBI director thanked the men and women of the FBI and law enforcement everywhere who stand guard 24/7 to “defend the homeland.”
