“Family Feud” contestant Timothy Bliefnick, who gave an eerie answer to a marriage, has been found guilty of breaking into his estranged wife’s home and murdering her.

A jury in Illinois convicted Bliefnick of two counts of first-degree murder and another of home invasion after he refused to testify in his defense, the Daily Mail reported.

Rebecca “Becky” Bliefnick was found dead inside her home in February. The couple, who had three children, had been living apart and were in the process of getting divorced. Court records show that they had filed restraining orders against each other, the outlet noted.

During the trial, jurors were read a text Becky sent to her sister, Sarah Reilly, warning that if anything should happen to her, Tim would be the number one “person of interest.”

“I am putting this in writing that I’m fearful he will somehow harm me, come after me, or will try to [do] something to me that takes me away from the kids or the kids away from me,” the message read.

Becky’s family released a statement calling the verdict justice and said their loved one “was robbed of her life in the most hateful, cowardly and cruel way.”

“Her boys were robbed of a loving, devoted mother,” the statement read. “I was robbed of my sister and best friend. My parents were robbed of their daughter, and as a parent myself, I cannot imagine a greater torture.”

“Becky was a niece, an aunt and a cousin; a friend, a colleague and a caregiver,” it added. “All those who love her carry heavy heartache in the wake of this tragedy.”

The family’s statement concluded by saying they were prioritizing raising Becky’s three children.

“While life cannot be normal in the ways it once was, such love and support does help restore the belief that the world does, in fact, have more good than evil,” the statement read. “As they go forward with the certain truth that their father murdered their mother, we ask that you keep Becky’s three, incredible boys in your prayers.”

In 2020, Bliefnick appeared on the popular game show and said that the biggest mistake at his wedding was getting married.

During the show, host Steve Harvey read the question, “Whats’ the biggest mistake you made at your wedding?” He answered, “Honey, I love you,” as he directed his response toward his wife, then said, “But ‘I do.'”

Bliefnick then wanted to make sure he clarified his answer when it drew a reaction from the audience, claiming that he wasn’t talking about his own marriage.

“Not my mistake,” Timothy replied. “Not my mistake. I love my wife. I’m gonna get in trouble for that, aren’t I?”

It was then revealed that “I Do” was the second most popular answer. The show was taped in 2019 and appeared on air in 2020.
