EXCLUSIVE: Trump Will Remind Voters Of His Strongest Issue In Georgia Speech Friday

WASHINGTON— President Donald Trump will hone in on the issue that powered his election victories in 2016 and 2024 during a Friday speech in Georgia.

Trump’s speech will focus on illegal immigration, Tren de Aragua, and Laken Riley, a White House official shared with The Daily Wire. The president will deliver remarks at Dalton Municipal Airport as he tries to shore up support for Republican candidates in the midterm elections, specifically Georgia Republicans Rick Jackson and Mike Collins.

“One of the President’s greatest successes has been closing the border and dismantling Tren de Aragua,” White House spokeswoman Lauren Bis said on Friday. “Biden allowed this vicious gang to invade our country and kill innocent Americans, like Georgia nursing student Laken Riley.”

She added: “President Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration and transnational gangs has contributed to the largest decrease in violent crime in American history.”

In Dalton, where the president will be speaking on Friday, the city’s population is almost 55% Hispanic and roughly 29% foreign-born, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

President Trump created the Homeland Security Task Force on his first day back in office, a task force dedicated to eradicating gangs, cartels, and transnational criminal organizations who have entered the United States under President Joe Biden’s administration.

Those individuals operated largely unimpeded until the second Trump administration: now the Homeland Security Task Force is the largest campaign against transnational crime in United States history, a White House official said.

Between January 20, 2025 and October 8, 2026, the White House shared, task force law enforcement arrested 1,296 Tren de Aragua gang members. Many of these arrests occurred in Georgia.

Some of these Tren de Aragua members arrested in Georgia include Jared Adonay Cruz Rivera, an illegal alien from Honduras who was arrested in April, with a criminal background that includes crimes ranging from armed robbery to aggravated assault.

In April, ICE also arrested three other Tren de Aragua members: Henrri Enrique Cortez Vargas, an illegal alien from Venezuela, Wuilians Bruno Tejada Villeda, an illegal alien from Guatemala, and Maricela Maria Gonzalez, an illegal alien from Venezuela.

Also in May, ICE arrested Rudy Gabriel Sauceda Ramos, an illegal immigrant from Honduras, Jonathan Homez Gonzalez and Jeremias Alexander Gomez Gonzalez, both illegal aliens from El Salvador with similarly long rap sheets, and Robin Acosta Conzalez, an illegal alien from Cuba.
