WASHINGTON — For years, the radical leftist group Antifa has doxxed and harassed Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents across the United States. Now, the United States is fighting back against the hub of this global harassment campaign.
The State Department on Wednesday named Autistici/Inventati a Specially Designated Global Terrorist group, The Daily Wire can first report. A/I, as the State Department has nicknamed the group, is linked to notorious Antifa groups in the United States like Rose City Antifa, Stop Cop City, and Against Beltway Fascism, all of which have doxxed and harassed ICE and Homeland Security employees, as well as top conservative organizations like The Heritage Foundation.
Autistici/Inventati presents itself as an Italian technology collective offering privacy-focused tools to help activists and social movements. In reality, the group creates a digital infrastructure for Antifa groups in the United States and around the world, a State Department official shared with The Daily Wire, hosted on websites with the name “noblogs.org.” Those groups harass, doxx, and commit violence against their targets, who are often conservative or oppose far-left causes.
One such group is Rose City Antifa. The notorious Portland, Oregon group has doxxed at least five ICE agents and leaked the home addresses of three of those agents on an Autistici/Inventati website, which the State Department shared exclusively with The Daily Wire. Rose City Antifa also disseminated propaganda calling on far-left actors to “attack ICE everywhere,” in “the streets, at their homes,” and to “find each other, make plans, and hit them where it hurts.”
Noblogs websites are designed to give these groups as much anonymity and encryption as possible. They are hosted on servers and outright built by members of the Autistici/Inventati collective, a State Department official shared. Now, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has designated Autistici/Inventati as a terrorist organization.
“Today, the United States sanctioned several transnational far-left terrorist networks, including Autistici/Inventati — a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active and violent Antifa cells in the United States and across the world,” Rubio said Wednesday.
“There will be no refuge for violent extremists who wage war on our civilization and plot to undermine law and order, destroy critical infrastructure, assault political opponents, or conspire to conceal their crimes from authorities,” he vowed. “We will use all the tools and authorities at our disposal to fight terrorism and protect our way of life from terrorist coercion.”
Another group in the network is Stop Cop City/Scenes from the Atlanta Forest, which is hosted on a noblogs website. Stop Cop City leaked the business addresses of companies that were contracted to work on the 85-acre police, fire, and emergency training campus, the Atlanta Public Safety Training Center, and the names and addresses of the company’s owners, which the State Department shared. It also doxxed, threatened, and intimidated a number of police officers, government officials, business owners, and private citizens who it suspected were involved in constructing the center.
Against Beltway Fascism doxxed Heritage Foundation staff, leadership, and trustees after illegally obtaining their names and addresses, as well as the authors of Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation-led policy blueprint for the second Trump administration.
The anti-ICE group Unravel leaked information on 48 ICE and DHS officers, publishing their names, addresses, and other personal information that had been illegally obtained, according to the State Department. Boston Melt also shared the personal information of ICE and DHS officers, including photos of the officers’ license plates.
Philly Anti-Capitalist doxxed the CEO of Ghost Robotics, Gavin Kenneally, publishing his home and office addresses and then claiming responsibility for the subsequent damage to his property. Revolutionary Anarchist Liberation Front doxxed the co-founder of an artificial intelligence firm in Montreal and then claimed responsibility for the firebomb attack on that co-founder’s home and corporate office, the State Department shared.
Autistici/Inventati’s terrorist designation could carry implications for the Antifa groups whose website it hosts, as well as anyone who wants to support them.
When anti-Trump political commentator Brian Krassenstein posted Wednesday encouraging his audience to donate to Autistici/Inventati, saying that they stand for “antiracism, antifascism, antisexism, antimilitarism, and opposition to authoritarianism and hierarchies,” a State Department official was quick to point out that this constituted a grave federal crime.
“Donating money to a specially designated global terrorist is a federal crime,” said Assistant Secretary of State for Global Public Affairs Dylan Johnson. “You can be prosecuted and sentenced to 20 years in federal prison and fined up to $1 million. So, maybe talk to a lawyer before listening to this moron.”
