Donald Trump Jr. has questions about the timing of President Joe Biden’s cancer announcement.
The president’s son shared a post wishing Biden a speedy recovery. But Trump Jr. isn’t shying away from pondering the timing of the revelation, which came Sunday evening — two days ahead of the publication of “Original Sin,” Jake Tapper’s and Alex Thompson’s expose of “President Biden’s Decline, It’s Cover Up, And His Disastrous Choice to Run Again.”
“Based on what I’m seeing from other doctors, who understand it’s very hard to get to stage four metastatic cancer in a few weeks,” he told The Daily Wire in a text message on Monday morning. “People who die of prostate cancer, which can be incredibly aggressive, are usually those who either choose not to, or don’t have the access for these kinds of screenings, but apparently it takes 5 to 7 years to get to this point.”
Biden had access to the “finest healthcare available,” Trump Jr. noted, so it’s surprising that these health officials couldn’t detect his cancer for so long.
“The fact that it breaks this week that he has it and we are told we’re not allowed to talk about anything Joe Biden right now because that would be uncouth screams to me to be an additional part of this cover-up,” the presidents son continued, adding: “Who knew who was actually running the government.”
He pointed to messaging from Biden supporters like David Axelrod, who told CNN on Sunday that discussions of Biden’s mental acuity “should be more muted and set aside for now as he’s struggling through this.”
Trump Jr. has also questioned what Biden’s wife, Jill Biden, knew about the former president’s diagnosis. The post quickly went viral, garnering over 30 thousand likes.
“What I want to know,” he tweeted, “is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???”

The Office of Joe and Jill Biden announced the former president’s diagnosis on Sunday, sharing that he “was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.”
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” the statement continues. “The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
The former president had a polyp removed from his colon in 2021. At the time, White House physician Kevin O’Connor said the polyp was benign but potentially pre-cancerous lesion that did not require further action. Biden had a similar polyp removed from his colon in 2008.
“Routine surveillance is recommended for this finding,” O’Connor wrote to White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki in a 2021 letter. “Typically, repeat colonoscopy in 7 to 10 years is recommended.”
The median survival rate for prostate cancer that metastasized to the bone is 21 months, according to Duke University.
The Daily Wire asked White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Monday morning whether it is interested in further scrutiny of O’Connor, given the ongoing revelations about Biden’s declining mental acuity and the coverup of that decline by both his staff and the legacy media.
“I’ll let the president speak on that,” Leavitt responded. “I spoke to the president about the former President’s health diagnosis last night, and he wanted to extend his warmest wishes to the former president and his family. But as for any further action, I’ll let the president speak on that first.”
