Former NFL player Channing Crowder rendered comedian Kevin Hart momentarily speechless when he announced on a recent podcast that he and his wife attend a nudist colony on an annual basis.
The retired Miami Dolphins linebacker mentioned his yearly excursion during an appearance alongside Hart on “The Pivot” podcast, and Hart — clearly confused — followed the revelation with a series of stilted questions and double takes.

“So, me and my wife go to a nudist colony like once a once a year …” Crowder began, prompting an immediate “Sorry?!” from Hart.
“We go to nudist colony,” Crowder repeated.
“What’s going on?” Hart interrupted, shaking his head.
“We go to a place where, like, you walk in, and everybody just gets naked and runs around,” Crowder tried again.
“I heard you say it,” Hart shot back, appearing to struggle as he tried to come up with a question that made sense. “I’m asking — I’m just asking you what’s going on.”
“Okay, yeah. So we go to the nudist colony and you know, we just kind of go around, you gotta shave everything and show out,” Crowder explained. “And especially when you shave your sh**, it looks bigger because you gain inches from no hair.”
The whole time Crowder was speaking, Hart stared at him, clearly still not wrapping his brain around what was happening.
“Back up for a second. I just wanna get clarity. Y’all just hanging out or y’all f***ing these people like what–” Hart tried to make it make sense.
“No, no, there are swingers there, but you set the precedent when you get there,” Crowder clarified, seeming to indicate that while some of the attendees were swingers, he and his wife were not.
“So y’all get down?” Hart asked, his brow wrinkled in confusion.
“We don’t get down, but we just like to be around naked people together,” Crowder replied, prompting a laugh from podcast cohost Fred Taylor.
“You hear what you’re saying out loud?” Hart asked, still apparently not satisfied with the explanation thus far.
“You don’t like to be around naked people?” Crowder asked.
Hart was clearly not convinced: “Be honest with you I have no desire to be around a bunch of people I don’t know, just sitting there naked.”
Hart appeared onstage at Madison Square Garden with fellow comedian Chris Rock on Saturday — as part of their “Only Headliners Allowed” tour — and comedian Dave Chappelle delighted fans when he showed up as the surprise opening act.
