As part of the New York Daily News’ mass layoffs announced Monday, apparently the entire social media team was cut, according to Candace Amos, who was one of the employees let go.
Nearly two hours after Amos sent her tweet — and two hours after the newspaper’s Twitter account stopped retweeting people mentioning the outlet’s successes — the outgoing social media team put up one final, perfect tweet.
In case this tweet gets deleted — it’s the gif of John Travolta from “Pulp Fiction” looking around confused.
