On Monday, Maye Musk, the mother of Elon Musk, ripped President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for ignoring the scientific achievements of her son after they failed to acknowledge SpaceX’s 150th launch on Friday.
Maye Musk tweeted sarcastically, “Sharing this remarkable achievement with @JoeBiden @POTUS @VP @KamalaHarris who are completely unaware of the world’s most advanced rockets and spacecraft. ‘#MadeInAmerica #JustSaySpacex.”

“The company’s Falcon 9 rocket delivered 40 spacecraft to orbit on Friday – SpaceX’s fourth ‘dedicated rideshare mission’ and their 150th successful launch,” The Daily Mail noted. “The ridesharing program sees national space agencies like NASA and Germany’s national space agency pay SpaceX to launch their satellites for them.”
“The rocket launched into a sun-synchronous orbit at 12:24 p.m. EDT,” Parabolic Arc reported. “The mission manifest included the first satellite orbited by Pixxel of India, Kleos Space’s Patrol Mission, and 12 Spacebee communications satellites. … It was the company’s 12th launch of 2022 and the first of six planned missions in April.”
Last November, Biden visited General Motors’ electric vehicle site, where he shouted, “In the auto industry Detroit’s leading the world in electric vehicles. You know how critical it is? Mary, [GM CEO Mary Barra] I can remember talking to you way back in January about the need for America to lead in electric vehicles and I can remember your dramatic announcement that by 2035 GM would be 100% electric. You changed the whole story, Mary, wherever you are. There you are. You did, Mary. You electrified the entire automobile industry. I’m serious. You led.”
Maye Musk mocked Biden’s speech, tweeting laughing emojis and stating, “Biden’s speech was written 20 years ago, just before GM killed the electric car. His speechwriter uploaded the wrong file.”

In January, Elon Musk slammed Biden after Biden tweeted a video of himself talking with General Motors CEO Mary Barra, captioned, “I meant it when I said the future was going to be made right here in America. Companies like GM and Ford are building more electric vehicles here at home than ever before.”
Musk fired back, “Starts with a T. Ends with an A. ESL in the middle.”

Musk has repeatedly mocked Biden online after Biden has spurned the CEO and his companies, despite their extraordinary accomplishments. Musk responded to a Twitter user who asked why Biden had not acknowledged that SpaceX’s ‘Inspiration4’ mission, the world’s first all-civilian crew spaceflight, raised hundreds of millions of dollars for charity by tweeting: “He’s still sleeping.” Musk has slammed Biden for being a “puppet” for the United Auto Workers union and for not inviting Tesla to an EV event at the White House.
