<p>The law firm representing a 20-year-old detransitioner released a documentary Thursday detailing how this young woman was duped into a gender transition at the age of 12.</p>
<p>Clementine Breen&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/celebrated-trans-doctor-sued-for-medical-negligence-over-removal-of-14-year-old-girls-breasts">lawsuit</a> accuses celebrated transgender doctor Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy of fast-tracking Breen&#8217;s attempted gender transition, including puberty blockers, hormones, and a double mastectomy, when she was a young teenager.  The Center for American Liberty has produced a documentary about her story, titled &#8220;Crossroads of Care: Children, Consent, and Controversy,&#8221; which will premiere on Thursday evening on X.</p>
<p>&#8220;My doctor told my parents that they could either have a living son or a dead daughter,&#8221; Breen says in the trailer for the documentary. &#8220;It was never really about the why, it really just felt like they were trying to get me through transition as quick as possible. It wasn&#8217;t until earlier this year, when I actually started doing research about my own doctor, and the things that she said, that&#8217;s when I started to realize that what happened to me wasn&#8217;t right.&#8221;</p>
<p>The documentary is intended to raise questions about the growing number of detransitioners who are seeking justice, the Center for American Liberty said in a release, as well as questions related to consent and medical ethics related to transgenderism.</p>

<p>Breen&#8217;s lawyers argue that Olson-Kennedy, the therapist she referred Breen to, the surgeon who removed Breen’s breasts, and other medical professionals are all guilty of medical negligence for rushing Breen through procedures that have deeply and negatively impacted her future. They also argue that the medical professionals involved in Breen&#8217;s attempted gender transition ignored her history of sexual abuse, PTSD, and her mental health issues.</p>
<p>“Clementine is a female who suffered from a complex, multi-faceted array of mental health symptoms as a child and adolescent,” the complaint states. “She is also a survivor of multiple instances of sexual abuse as a child and adolescent, something that was never explored, addressed, or discussed by Defendants in the course of their purported treatment.”</p>

<p>The lawsuit continues: “Her presentation of symptoms and concerns included, among other things, anxiety, depression, autism, undiagnosed post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), potential bipolarism, as has been suggested by one of her psychiatrists, ongoing confusion regarding her gender, and eventually psychosis (including audio and visual hallucinations), panic attacks, and paranoia. Her family also has a lengthy history of mental health issues. She needed psychotherapy to evaluate, assess, and treat her complex co-morbid mental health symptoms.”</p>
<p>Olson-Kennedy has not responded to requests for comment from The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>Last month, she <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/23/science/puberty-blockers-olson-kennedy.html">revealed to the New York Times</a> that she purposefully stopped the publication of a $10 million taxpayer-funded study into puberty blockers and their effects on American children after the study did not show the results she had hoped for. Olson-Kennedy had hoped the study would show that puberty blockers improve children’s mental health, and her study found no evidence that this was the case.</p>
<p>“I do not want our work to be weaponized,” she told the Times. “It has to be exactly on point, clear and concise. And that takes time.”</p>
