Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin announced a new initiative on Friday, promising that the Democratic Party had at last figured out a way to effectively counter the agenda being pushed by President Donald Trump and the Republican-controlled Congress.
Martin shared video via X saying that the DNC was convening what he referred to as “The People’s Cabinet” — and then proceeded to explain that rather than actually giving the people any say in who would be a part of that “cabinet,” the party would provide a group of “experts” and “leaders” who could then help people “fight back” against the Trump administration.
“We’re launching the People’s Cabinet—a group of leaders, experts, and everyday Americans who will cut through Trump’s lies and speak directly to the people. Stay tuned for more,” Martin captioned the video.

“Hey, it’s Ken Martin. I want to tell you about the People’s Cabinet that the DNC is launching today,” he began. “I have been traveling across the country nonstop since I started this job, and what I hear over and over is this — Americans want us to fight back against Trump’s lies and offer a better alternative.”
