Singer Madonna on Sunday posted a viral TikTok video that has been interpreted as coming out as gay to her 2.8 million followers.
Madonna, full name Madonna Louise Ciccone, has displayed increasingly bizarre behavior online with highly-filtered and over-sexualized posts in recent years.
“If I miss, I’m gay!” read the text over the “Material Girl” singer’s post.
In the video, Madonna shows off a pair of pink panties, bunches them up in her hands, and throws them across the room. The next shot shows the panties a couple of feet short of a trash can.
Wearing all white and rocking hot pink hair and bleached eyebrows, Madonna looks at the camera with her hand on her hip and shrugs.

The video, viewed more than 20.4 million times since Sunday, has racked up hundreds of reactions online.

On TikTok, followers reacted not only to the content of the video post, but the singer’s look.
“Did I just witness Madonna coming out, good for her,” one person said, while another reacted, “We are witnessing herstory.”
“Did Madonna just come out? And I’m witnessing it in real time??” someone said, as another comment read, “Coming out at 64?”
“Did .. madonna.. just come out?” the TikTok reactions continued. “Madonna has been bi for years don’t act surprised besides I gotta say she is living her lifeee!!” someone else said. “Yessss.”
“Madonna has been an out bisexual for literally decades my dudes,” another similar reaction went.
During the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards , Madonna notably kissed singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera on the mouth during a wedding-themed performance. Earlier this year, Madonna and Spears reenacted the kiss at the latter’s wedding to Sam Asghari.
“I wouldn’t have recognized her,” one comment on the singer’s appearance said. “Doesn’t look like Madonna.”
“After seeing all of these celebrities I’ve decided to never have surgery to change my physical appearance, you just need more until it’s too much,” another TikTok user posted.
Back in April, fans of Madonna expressed horror over her new look, The Daily Wire reported.
In the 13-second video, the “Like a Virgin” singer pursed her lips while leaning back and forth in front of the camera, wearing heavy silver chains and a black sheer top.
