Democrat Activist Implies Hillary Would React Faster To Coronavirus Problem Than Trump. James Woods Wrecks That.
On Sunday, a Democrat activist who apparently is still smarting from Hillary Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump in 2016 took to Twitter to imply that Clinton’s reaction to the coronavirus issue in the United States would have been far more speedy and organized than President Trump’s, tweeting, “Can you imagine how quick and organized the response to the coronavirus would have been if Hillary Clinton had been in the White House?”

Actor James Woods took notice, firing back a tweet that reflected reality rather than the rose-colored glasses view of Clinton that her devotees normally parrot. Woods snapped, “You mean like her snappy response to our Americans being slaughtered in #Benghazi, which she slept through? In a drunken stupor. As usual. As quick and organized as that? #ScrewHillary.”

Woods has a history of taking no prisoners where Hillary Clinton is concerned; in February, she tweeted, “As the president’s impeachment trial began, Republican senators pledged an oath to defend the Constitution. Today, 52 of them voted to betray that oath—and all of us. We’re entering dangerous territory for our democracy. It’ll take all of us working together to restore it.”

Woods fired back this torpedo: “You, of course, will never be impeached. One up side to being the most famous loser in American history. So there’s that…”

After the debacle in the February Iowa caucuses in which the Democratic party could not even determine who won, Woods tweeted, “Just for giggles, imagine this: the #IowaCauscuses were not a snafu, but an engineered ‘cluster muck’ to keep the #Democrat field wide open. The #ImpeachmentSham was a way to air Biden’s corruption. The chaos leads to a brokered convention. Guess which drunken hag saves the day?”

In August 2018, Woods tweeted,” I voted in 2016 against Hillary Clinton. Like so many I didn’t vote FOR Donald Trump, so much as AGAINST Hillary Clinton. We are now astonished at what Trump has accomplished in so short a time. Millions voted as I did. Now we will be voting FOR Trump in 2020, and deservedly so.”

In October 2015, Rep. Susan Brooks asked Clinton about an email from December 2011 in which former U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens (who was murdered in the September 2012 attack at the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya by members of the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia) asked an official about security at the Benghazi compound, and whether the State Department wanted had decided to shut it down, as Breitbart reported.
Clinton answered, “Well, Congresswoman, one of the great attributes that Chris Stevens had was a really good sense of humor and I just see him smiling as he’s typing this because it’s clearly in response to the e-mail down below talking about picking up a few ‘fire sale items from the Brits.’”
Woods tweeted, “Hillary Clinton: “Oh, that Chris … What a kidder!#Disgusting #BenghaziCommittee.”

President Trump has wanted to take an aggressive position regarding the coronavirus since the beginning; as the Washington Post reported, he was furious with the decision to allow Americans infected with the virus to allow 14 Americans who tested positive for coronavirus to return to the United States from Japan:
Trump and the administration’s coronavirus task force were told last Saturday that Americans who had spent weeks in quarantine aboard the Diamond Princess luxury liner where the virus had spread to hundreds of passengers would be brought home on two chartered planes — but that patients who had symptoms or the infection itself would stay in Japan …
Trump learned of the decision only after the fact and was angry that he wasn’t consulted first, complaining that the decision could damage his administration’s handling of the response, according to administration officials familiar with the situation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations. Some members of the task force were not told in advance that the infected people would be placed on the plane and learned that only after the plane was on its way back to the United States.
