<p>Fox News anchor Dana Perino issued a warning to Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA), questioning his recent behavior on social media. &#8220;You&#8217;re making a fool of yourself. Stop it!&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>Perino addressed Newsom&#8217;s recent posts on X during a panel discussion on &#8220;The Five,&#8221; arguing that he was not doing himself any favors with the way he was presenting himself.</p>

<p>&#8220;For the last week, Gavin Newsom — why am I giving him advice?&#8221; Perino began. &#8220;You have to stop it with the Twitter thing. I don&#8217;t know where his wife is. If I were his wife, I would say you are making a fool of yourself, stop it. Do not let your staff tweet, and if you&#8217;re doing it yourself, put the phone away and start over.&#8221;</p>
<p>Perino went on to mention Newsom&#8217;s apparent presidential aspirations, adding, &#8220;He&#8217;s got a big job as governor of California, but if he wants an even bigger job, he has to be a little more serious.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Pod Save America&#8221; cohost Jon Favreau claimed that Newsom was only doing it to mock President Donald Trump.</p>

<p>&#8220;I mean, it&#8217;s pretty clearly a parody of Trump&#8217;s absolutely insane all caps, often nonsensical posts. Probably why all the people in my life who aren&#8217;t political junkies keep reaching out to say they don&#8217;t know much about Newsom but think the tweets are hilarious. Humor and mockery can be quite effective!&#8221; he claimed.</p>
<p>Perino responded by saying that if Newsom&#8217;s play worked and he became the 2028 Democratic nominee, she&#8217;d buy Favreau dinner.</p>

Dems brand is absolute trash, there’s no leader, and the guy with the best shot is spending ALL his time doing a dime-store impression of the guy they say is Hitler.&#8221;</p>
