<p>Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) recently mocked President Joe Biden over a gaffe that the president made while speaking in Canada last week.</p>
<p>Addressing the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, Biden thanked the Canadians for their commitment to accepting more migrants from Latin America.</p>
<p>&#8220;So today, I applaud China for stepping up,&#8221; Biden said as the audience instantly burst out in laughter. &#8220;I applaud Canada. You can tell what I&#8217;m thinking.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;So that&#8217;s addressing the Canadian Parliament. And listen, fine, so he had a slip of the tongue. Everyone does that. Biden does it a lot,&#8221; Cruz said. &#8220;But I just want to point out that&#8217;s the entire Parliament of Canada laughing at the President of the United States.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Now, Canadians are many things, but fundamentally, they&#8217;re polite. They are very polite,&#8221; Cruz continued. &#8220;Just how bad do you have to screw up to have a roomful of Canadians laughing at you?&#8221;</p>
