Cover-Up: 11 Things the Media Won’t Tell You About Obama Spying On Trump

   DailyWire.com

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough doesn’t often make good points, but when he said that the national media would have lost its ever-loving mind had Dick Cheney done the exact same thing to Barack Obama that Susan Rice did to Donald Trump, that was a precise hit on the head of a nail.

In fact, we all would have lost our minds. The very idea of anyone — Republican or Democrat — weaponizing national intelligence, based on literal wiretaps, against an incoming administration, is so un-American, so out-of-keeping with one of our country’s greatest traditions, the peaceful transfer of power, no one would have found that acceptable.

Unfortunately, our national media isn’t just anyone. Rather, it is a highly-organized, supremacist, left-wing cult interested only in power. Therefore, in order to achieve the ends of destroying Trump’s presidency, our media’s Chris Cuomos and Scott Pelleys and Jake Tappers and Andrea Mitchells and Chuck Todds all see it as perfectly acceptable to use the means of destroying these sacred constitutional norms.

And so, in order to justify their Precious Barry’s un-American spying and highly illegal leaking, the media is outright lying through both omission and commission, hiding and/or refusing to clarify certain facts. And all of this is done through a coordinated Narrative agreed upon by every mainstream media platform in the country.

With this in mind, I thought it was important to detail, in one handy-dandy place, all the information our national media is covering up, all the crucially important facts our corrupt media is desperately hoping to keep away from the American public…

1. Look At How The Media Has Moved the ObamaGate Goalposts!

On March 4, after Trump brilliantly used his Twitter account to expose Obama’s sleazy spying, the national media went ballistic. They are still in ballistic mode. But look at how they have been forced to modify their partisan spin by a full 180 degrees.

If you recall, on March 4, the media again and again reassured us that the accusation Obama spied on Trump was a BIG FAT LIE! It never happened! Our Precious Barry would never do that! Trump must apologize immediately for his slanderous, completely unfounded, and evidence-free accusation that Obama spied on him!!!

With a straight face (betrayed by a glint of beady-eyed panic), today the media is telling us, “Of course Obama spied on Trump. This is normal and routine, so shut up, racist.”

2. Obama Spying on Trump Is NOT “Normal and Routine”

Take a moment, just a moment, to stop and think about the crap sandwich your media wants you to eat. You are being asked to believe that an outgoing administration spying on a presidential campaign and an incoming presidential administration is usual-usual, that this happens all the time in our democracy.

This, of course, is preposterous.

Even if Team Barry had caught Team Trump doing something illegal or unethical — AND THEY DID NOT — this is highly unusual behavior, for one very simple reason…

The White House is not a collector of intelligence.

The White House does not investigate intelligence.

The White House is a consumer of intelligence.

The act of “unmasking” is an act of collecting and investigating intelligence, which is the job of our intelligence agencies.

Moreover, thanks to Barry’s last-minute Machiavellian rule change that allows for the widest distribution of intelligence possible, Susan Rice’s highly unusual act of unmasking Team Trump was almost certainly done to ensure this intelligence would leak to a willing media, and the leaking of intelligence is a felony, and therefore not at all routine.

3. Susan Rice Initially Lied About Her Unmasking Frenzy

The media keeps telling us Rice did nothing wrong.

Why, then, just 11 days before admitted to her unmasking of Team Trump, did Rice look the world in the eye and lie about her unmasking of Team Trump?

To ask the question is to answer the question, which is why Andrea Mitchell did not ask Rice the question during her interview Tuesday. An interview, by the way, that looked as though it was well-rehearsed in advance, like an attorney would rehearse an important witness before going into open court.

That fact that Rice lied is damning. It makes her and Barry look like what they are, guilty as hell, and this is why the media is covering her lie up.

4. Rice’s Own Rationale Proves That What She Did Is Unethical

Rice told Andrea Mitchell that she unmasked Team Trump in order to “understand the importance of the report, and assess its significance.”

We all know that’s a lie, we all know Rice’s true motivation was to disrupt the incoming administration using wiretapped information leaked to a trained-seal media. Regardless, even her stated rationale does not comport with the law: [emphasis added]

Some defenders of Rice suggests she could label anything she wanted of “foreign intelligence value,” under the implementing regulatory protocols and thereby label it “foreign intelligence information” under the statute.

The law is not so broad. Instead, the statute requires “foreign intelligence information” be “necessary to” the “conduct” of “foreign affairs” and to the person’s position, and further employs a more limiting specific definition in the regulations in USSID for warrant-less seizures, as necessary to make it constitutional under the 4th Amendment. That definition is limited to criminal conduct type behavior, or its security equivalent. That is why the regulatory protocols give specific “examples of the type of information that meet this standard” of “foreign intelligence value.” What are those examples? Criminal-type behavior or imminent security risks.

The Daily Wire’s Aaron Bandler has much more on this here.

5. It Was Not Susan Rice’s Job To Unmask Americans

Susan Rice is Obama’s Right-Hand Woman and was a National Security Adviser, not an investigator. If the unmasking was necessary to “understand the intelligence,” why didn’t the federal agencies actually charged with investigating American citizens — the FBI, NSA or CIA — unmask Team Trump?

National Review’s Andrew McCarthy:

Understand: There would have been no intelligence need for Susan Rice to ask for identities to be unmasked. If there had been a real need to reveal the identities — an intelligence need based on American interests — the unmasking would have been done by the investigating agencies.

The national-security adviser is not an investigator. She is a White House staffer. The president’s staff is a consumer of intelligence, not a generator or collector of it. If Susan Rice was unmasking Americans, it was not to fulfill an intelligence need based on American interests; it was to fulfill a political desire based on Democratic-party interests.

Weaponizing surveillance against political opponents is the stuff of Stalin’s KGB, the behavior of a police state.

6. All This Illegal Spying and Still No Russian Smoking Gun

Look at the chilling extremes Barry went to in the hopes of catching Team Trump doing something illegal or unethical: outright spying through warrantless wiretaps and felonious leaks to a willing media…. And STILL there is no evidence of any kind that there was any collusion between the Russians and the Trump camp.

On top of that, we have had 7 months of a media frenzy, 7 months of hundreds of partisan investigative journalists using their sources within a Deep State desperate to depose Trump, and STILL there is no evidence Trump did a single thing wrong.

7. The Deep State Is Stalling the Congressional Investigation Into Barry’s Criminal Leaks

To the surprise of no one:

According to Fox News, legislators and investigators working with the House and Senate Intelligence Committees investigating allegations the Obama administration spied on Trump associates, claim intelligence agencies are stonewalling efforts to discover who leaked names and protected information to the media.

Fox News reported, “Multiple lawmakers and investigators for the panel told Fox News the CIA, FBI and National Security Agency – all agencies in position to aid the probe – are not cooperating.”

Of course they are stalling. The Deep State is Barry’s secret government, a cabal of his loyalists dedicated to protecting his failed legacy.

As I said above, despite state spying, leaks galore, and a rabidly partisan press utilizing unlimited resources, there is absolutely no evidence Team Trump colluded with Russia. However…

One or many within Barry’s administration are guilty of an actual crime, the leaking of intelligence to the public via a sycophant media.

8. Rice’s Unmasking Had Zero To Do With Russia

Rep. Peter King is a member of the House Intelligence Committee and has seen the documents Rice unmasked. Let me assure you that the last thing the media wants you to know is the following

The intelligence reports at the center of the Susan Rice unmasking controversy were detailed, and almost resembled a private investigator’s file, according to a Republican congressman familiar with the documents.

“This is information about their everyday lives,” Rep. Peter King of New York, a member of the House Intelligence committee said. “Sort of like in a divorce case where lawyers are hired, investigators are hired just to find out what the other person is doing from morning until night and then you try to piece it together later on.”

This was purely a political operation. A police state in action, nothing more, nothing less.

9. Devin Nunes is 100% Vindicated

After House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes dropped the bomb about Barry’s spying, the national media went into a frenzy hoping to discredit WHAT THE MEDIA ALREADY KNEW WAS TRUE. This was no doubt done as a cynical means to distract from the only real wrongdoing we are so far aware of, all of it committed by the Obama administration.

Even though he has stepped down from this particular investigation, Nunes is now 100% vindicated … and then some.

10. Rice Ordered Spy Agencies to Track Trump Phone Calls on ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’

Per The Daily Caller, during the actual campaign, Rice ordered our intelligence infrastructure to prepare spreadsheets that would allow the Obama administration to track all the LEGAL phone calls made by Trump and his campaign aides.

Please note that the Daily Caller‘s source is an on-the-record source, former-U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova:

Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce “detailed spreadsheets” of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday.

“The overheard conversations involved no illegal activity by anybody of the Trump associates, or anyone they were speaking with,” diGenova said. “In short, the only apparent illegal activity was the unmasking of the people in the calls.”

Other official sources with direct knowledge and who requested anonymity confirmed to TheDCNF diGenova’s description of surveillance reports Rice ordered one year before the 2016 presidential election.

Read the whole thing.

During her interview with Andrea Mitchell, Rice dodged this specific allegation (and, naturally, Mitchell let her) with the claim that she did not “prepare” these spreadsheets.

Well, no one claimed she “prepared” them. The allegation is that she ordered them to be prepared, an allegation she did not refute.

11. What Barry Did To Trump Is a TEXTBOOK Definition of ‘Wiretapping’

Yes, Trump was 100% correct when he accused Obama of “tapping his wires.” Feel free to argue with an actual MIT textbook if you don’t believe it:

Wiretapping is the traditional term for interception of telephone conversations. This should not be taken too literally. The word is no longer restricted to communications traveling by wire, and contemporary wiretaps are more commonly placed on radio links [ed. cell phones] or inside telephone offices. The meaning has also broadened in that the thing being tapped need no longer be a telephone call in the classic sense; it may be some other form of electronic communication, such as a fax or data.

Compared with the more precise but more general phrase “communications interception,” the word “wiretapping” has two connotations. Much the stronger of these is that a wiretap is aimed at a particular target, in sharp contrast to the “vacuum cleaner” interception widely practiced by national intelligence agencies. The weaker connotation is that it is being done by the police.

Obama weaponized the IRS against his political opponents, those everyday, powerless Americans in the Tea Party.

Obama weaponized the Department of Justice against the media, even though the media adored him.

And now, perfectly in keeping with The Chicago Barry we all know and loath, like the leader of a Banana Republic, he weaponized state surveillance against his political opposition.

And if I were U.S. Sens. Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, or Ted Cruz, I would be aggressively looking into Obama’s spying on my own presidential campaign.
