Coulter: Hannity Would Endorse Communism For Trump. Hannity Responds.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter’s public feud with talk show host Sean Hannity over their diverging views on Donald Trump escalated on Wednesday.

After Coulter appeared on Hannity’s Fox News show last Thursday (video below), she slammed him on Twitter of having “censored” her, alleging that he cut her response to Trump’s “rich man” comment. Hannity sharply refuted the idea, tweeting, “I have done more to help promote you and your books which I like over the years. No CONSPIRACY. THERE ARE TIME CONSTRAINTS ON TV,” and adding, “Ok Ann cut the BS. You were the last guest. I was taping that night. I tried repeatedly to get you to stay on time. U went over time.”

On Wednesday, Coulter penned a blog post that takes direct aim at Hannity.

In the post, titled “Even Trump Can’t Make Goldman Sachs Popular,” Coulter rips Hannity for what she portrays as his blind loyalty to Trump.

“Sean Hannity, bless his heart, has the zeal of the late Trump convert,” writes Coulter. “He would endorse communism if Trump decided to implement the policies of ‘The Communist Manifesto.’ (Which the GOP’s health care bill actually does!)”

Coulter then turns to her appearance on his show last Thursday, accusing him of deliberately cutting out a segment in which she says he tried to get her to defend Trump for having “handed over” the White House to Democrat-supporting Wall Street types:

On his show last Thursday, he tried to get me to defend Trump’s “rich person” remarks about Cohn. I wish you could see the segment, but, unfortunately, Hannity decided no one would ever see it — NOT, I hasten to add, because he would ever censor criticism of Trump, but simply because he ran out of time.

In a pre-taped interview. It was a time problem. (It may not be evident to most viewers, but three minutes MUST be left at the end of every Hannity show for Nerf football throwing.)

With the zealotry of those who came late to the Trump party, Hannity fully endorsed Trump’s faith in Cohn, adding, “I never got a job from a poor man!”

Coulter goes on to note that she was fully on the Trump train before Hannity, but suggests that, unlike him, she remains committed to telling the president the hard truth:

Those of us who have been here for a while — unlike Cruz- and Rubio-supporting Hannity — know how to party responsibly. The best way we serve the people we admire is to tell them the truth. (Someday, no doubt, Nancy Pelosi will wish she had been surrounded by fewer Yes Men.)

The motto of we longtime Trump supporters is: NO TREATS FOR DOING NOTHING!

As I told Hannity (in the pre-taped, and later edited, interview): He’s also never gotten a job from Goldman Sachs. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross created jobs. Donald Trump created jobs. Goldman Sachs doesn’t create jobs. The geniuses of Goldman specialize in generating obscene salaries for themselves while helping send American jobs abroad.

Hannity responded to Coulter’s post on Twitter by knocking her for her track record of “fall[ing] in and out of love” with various politicians.

“Ann, u fall in and out of love with [Chris] Christie [Mitt] Romney Trump and how many others,” he wrote. “Frankly you just bore me.”
