Cosmopolitan Magazine Laments Babies Being Born

   DailyWire.com

Sadness swept over Cosmopolitan Magazine on Thursday evening when they found out that millions of babies (about 57.5 million in the U.S. since Roe v. Wade) have been murdered via abortion.

No, just kidding. They were terribly torn up over babies being born. The horror.

Cosmo hit a new low when they literally tweeted out a sad face emoji while delivering the news that more babies in Texas were being born since the defunding of Planned Parenthood within the state.

Note: The tweet which featured the sad face emoji has since been deleted by the cowards at Cosmopolitan Magazine. See below:

Here is a screenshot of the tweet before it was deleted.

The article posted by the gross magazine laments the “1.9 percent increase in the birthing rate in counties that once had state-funded Planned Parenthood clinics during that same time period of 2011 to 2014.”

Cosmo continues, connecting the alleged drop in “highly effective contraception options” for low-income women to the “consequence” of an “uptick in the birthrate.”

If there were any remaining doubts about how cutting Planned Parenthood funding affects women, those should be pretty much cleared up by this new data. When Texas removed Planned Parenthood from its state Medicaid family-planning program, low-income women who qualified for the program were no longer able to afford some of the most highly effective contraception options. And the subsequent consequence was an uptick in the birthrate.

The supposed “bittersweet” up-side to the tragedy of more babies being birthed rather than killed is that Texas can stand as evidence of such horror and act as a deterrent for policies which would save more babies’ lives.

The bittersweet, not-so-silver lining in this is that Texas has basically served as a giant testing ground for policies that federal legislators have been promising constituents and trying to get passed on a national level for years. What’s happening in Texas is a preview of what happens when you take away health care from women. The effects would only be felt harder if you took health care away on a national scale.

It is clear that Cosmo is very upset over babies being born. What is also clear from the magazine that views itself as very pro-women, is that babies being murdered and the emotional and physical damage often tied to women who undergo abortion are not issues they view as bothersome in any way.

Of course, this very same outlet which is hell-bent on a “woman’s right to choose” (to murder her child), is also pro-Hijarbie. Because, you know, #FemaleEmpowerment.
