Pete Davidson is no longer headed to outer space with Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, and fans want Kanye West to replace him after it was announced the flight had to be postponed until later this month.
“Blue Origin’s 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29,” a tweet from the space voyage company read Thursday.
“Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission,” it added. “We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days.”

No other information has been provided as to why the “Saturday Night Live” star can’t make the trip this month, but fans of the 44-year-old rapper had some fun on social media posting pictures and messages about how he should be on board when the rocket takes off, reported the New York Post.
For those that might not be aware, the “SNL” star is currently dating West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Davidson and the rapper have had a very public fight on social media lately about “The Kardashians” star moving on with the comedian.

In February 2021, the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star filed for divorce from West after nearly 7 years of marriage. A judge earlier this month declared the two officially single. Kim and Kanye share four children together.
Davidson would’ve been the third celebrity to travel to outer space with the rocket company, following the likes of legendary “Star Trek” star William Shatner and former NFL star/”Good Morning America” co-host Michael Strahan, reported the Hollywood Reporter.
The 90-year-old actor made history in October when he became the oldest person to reach space after taking a ride with the flight company.
“Everybody in the world needs to do this… It was unbelievable.”
Star Trek actor William Shatner became emotional when describing his experience of flying to the edge of space in the #BlueOrigin rocket.

Once back on earth, Shatner was was noticeably moved by the opportunity as he reflected on life and death, calling it “unbelievable,” reported Sky News at the time.
