The cocaine that was found at the start of the week in the White House was discovered in a different location than was previously reported, according to a new report.

NBC News reported that the cocaine was found in “a cubby near the White House’s West Executive entrance.”

Initial reports said that the cocaine was found in a reference lobby, then officials claimed that it was found in a West Wing “work area.”

The area where the cocaine was allegedly found is “one floor below the main West Wing offices and the same floor as the Situation Room and a dining area.”

Sources claimed to NBC News that the area where the cocaine was found was “heavily trafficked.”

Investigators are expected to have completed their investigation into the ordeal in the next couple of days after reviewing security footage and checking for DNA and fingerprints on the small baggie that the cocaine was found in.

U.S. Secret Service confirmed on Wednesday that the substance, which initial tests indicated was cocaine, was confirmed to be the illicit drug after additional testing was conducted.

The discovery prompted widespread speculation that the cocaine could have belonged to Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden’s troubled son who has battled cocaine and crack addiction in the past and has recently been seen at the White House. However, officials did not say if the younger Biden is under suspicion.

“The item was sent for further evaluation and an investigation into the cause and manner of how it entered the White House is pending,” said Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi.

Conservative talk radio host and former Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino said on Wednesday that the mystery of who sneaked cocaine into the White House was hardly a whodunnit.

“There’s absolutely ZERO chance anyone other than a family member brought that cocaine inside the White House complex,” Bongino said Wednesday. “No chance that would make it past the mag/security checkpoints. Family bypasses those.”
