Actor Chris Pratt proudly shared his faith again this past weekend in front of a group of teens.
Upon winning the “Summer Movie Actor” award at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, the “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” star unabashedly shared his love for God and encouraged others to join him.
“I want to thank God,” Pratt said to applause. “I always do that when I’m up on a big platform in front of a bunch of young faces. I say I love God. That’s my thing.”
“I love Him,” he added, “And you should too.”
Pratt has made his faith known frequently by way of his social media account over the years. This summer, however, the actor began sharing it openly during awards shows. At the MTV Movie Awards this past June, he proclaimed before a large audience that “God is real.”
“Learn to pray. It’s easy, and it’s so good for your soul,” he told the audience, adding, “Nobody is perfect. People are gonna tell you you’re perfect just the way you are — you’re not. You are imperfect. You always will be. But, there is a powerful force that designed you that way. And if you’re willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift. And like the freedom that we enjoy in this country that grace was paid for with somebody else’s blood, do not forget it. Don’t take it for granted.”
