“Beverly Hills, 90210” alumnus Brian Austin Green cheered on his former costar after a video — which showed actor Ian Ziering getting out of his car to confront multiple members of a motorcycle gang — went viral.

Green shared a video on Tuesday via Instagram stories, and he was clearly impressed with his friend’s ability to handle what could have been a much more dangerous situation.

“Hey so I didn’t get a chance to get into this at all,” Green began. “My boy Ian Ziering got into a fistfight on Hollywood Boulevard with like five dudes, and f***ing like beat them, did it, did his thing.”Green went on to say that while he would not advise anyone to take on multiple assailants as Ziering had, he was proud of his friend for fighting back.

“He’s a monster. He’s f***ing incredibly fit, obviously,” the actor said of Ziering. “I would not suggest, to anyone, to fight people, especially not now in this climate. But, you know what? All turned out well. Z, I love you, brother, you’re a beast, good on you.”

Ziering also posted his own response in the aftermath of the fight, calling on city officials to address the growing boldness of criminals on the streets.

“Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes. While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation,” Ziering said. “In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.”

Ziering went on to say that he and his daughter — who was in the car with him at the time — were both fine, but that he worried about the fact that such gangs were growing bolder and bolder and showing no fear of police response.

“I have always been an advocate for standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety,” he continued. “We must address the underlying issues that lead to such disruptive behavior and ensure that our streets are safe for everyone. I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences.”
