Britney Spears’ husband Sam Asghari has made it clear he wished his wife didn’t share topless and nude photos on her Instagram account.
In a post on his Instagram Story, the 41-year-old singer’s husband shared that while the “Toxic” hitmaker has been “bullied” for posting photos, he would prefer she not share intimate images, Page Six reported.
“The only person in the world that gets bullied for posting things like this,” the 28-year-old model and fitness trainer shared.
“I personally preferred she never posted these but who am I to control someone that’s been under a microscope and been controlled for most of her life,” he added.
Asghari’s post came about after the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer shared a handful of snaps wearing nothing but her birthday suit. In the since-deleted racy posts, she used flower emojis to cover part of her body.

Social media users called the singer out and told her to stop taking off her clothes and more, the outlet noted.
“Something is not ok! Who is handling this account?” one critic wrote. “And isn’t there another court date soon? Someone is messing with her. Not normal. Why does Sam say ‘the media can be very traumatizing’ yet you’re ok with this?”
“Stop! Please stop!” another wrote. “Freedom is not when you take off your clothes. Dress up and speak for yourself with a calm mind.”
Taking a look at Spears‘ Instagram on Friday, it appeared the comments have been removed and fans have been prevented from making any comments on the singer’s latest half-naked shots. Shortly after that, the topless photos were deleted.
Spears and Asghari made headlines in June after the two tied the knot during an intimate ceremony attended by about a hundred friends and celebrities. She shares two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
In November 2021, a judge ruled to terminate the conservatorship Spears had been under since 2008, controlled by her father Jamie Spears.
