Britney Spears Claims ‘The News Is Fake’ After Report Of Altercation At Hotel

Singer Britney Spears dismissed news reports on Thursday that said that she had been involved in a disturbance in a West Hollywood hotel this week.

TMZ reported that Spears “got into a huge fight” with her boyfriend Paul Soliz Wednesday night at the Chateau Marmont “and she ended up out of control, crying, possibly cut, and almost driven away in an ambulance.”

At the hotel “there was some sort of disturbance and someone called police, claiming a woman matching Britney’s description was harassing and threatening hotel employees and guests,” the report said. “Officers showed up shortly after 10:30 PM, but they saw no signs of trouble and left.”

The report said that Spears and her boyfriend had escaped back to their hotel room where they continued partying until “they ended up getting into a huge altercation that we’re told turned physical” with a possible injury to Britney’s leg.

TMZ said that sources told the publication that Spears was “screaming and out of control” to the point where paramedics were called because people were worried about her mental health.

She later left the hotel with her security and without her boyfriend.

Spears later posted a message on Instagram that was full of random emojis, addressing the report and giving her side of the story.

“Just to let people know … the news is fake !!!” she said. “I would like respect at this time for people to understand I am getting stronger everyday !!! Truth sucks so can someone teach me how to lie ??? Goddesses out there, I’m reaching my higher power and furthermore, I hope you guys are too !!!”
