President Donald Trump sat down with Fox News anchor Bret Baier for an interview that was scheduled to air just ahead of Sunday afternoon&#8217;s Super Bowl coverage — but Baier released a teaser clip via X that showed him challenging Trump on his working relationship with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.
Baier&#8217;s question comes as Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has come under fire — mostly from Democrats and media — over sweeping cuts to things like the Unites States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

Trump noted that the people had elected him to, among other things, find and eliminate the waste and fraud in the federal government — and touted Musk&#8217;s help thus far in making that a reality.
&#8220;I don’t know if it’s kickbacks or what’s going on, but … look, I ran on this and the people want me to find it. And I’ve had a great help with Elon Musk, who’s been terrific,&#8221; Trump said.
&#8220;Bottom line, you say you trust him?&#8221; Baier interrupted.
&#8220;Trust Elon? He’s not gaining anything. In fact, I wonder how he can devote the time to it. He’s so into it,&#8221; Trump replied. &#8220;But I told him, do that — and I’m going to tell him very soon, like maybe in 24 hours, to go check the Department of Education. He’s going to find the same thing.&#8221;
&#8220;Then I’m going to go go to the military. Let’s check the military. We’re going to find billions, hundreds of millions of dollars of fraud and abuse,&#8221; the president continued. &#8220;And, you know, the people elected me on that.&#8221;

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sparred with NBC News White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor during Thursday&#8217;s briefing after Alcindor claimed that President Donald Trump had presented an &#8220;unsubstantiated&#8221; video of crosses marking the graves of white farmers in South Africa.
Alcindor repeated several times that the video was &#8220;unsubstantiated&#8221; and &#8220;not true&#8221; before asking what the process was for vetting such videos before showing them to world leaders like Trump did during an Oval Office meeting with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. Leavitt, who was having none of it, fired back immediately.

&#8220;The president showed a video that he said showed more than 1,000 burial sites of white South Africans that he said were murdered. We know that that was not true and that the video wasn&#8217;t true, and so I wonder, why did the president choose to show that —&#8221; Alcindor said.
&#8220;What&#8217;s not true, Yamiche?&#8221; Leavitt interrupted.
&#8220;It&#8217;s not true that the video was showing a burial site. It is unsubstantiated that&#8217;s the case —&#8221; Alcindor continued.
&#8220;No, it&#8217;s — it is true that that video showed the crosses that represent —&#8221; Leavitt pushed back.
&#8220;It&#8217;s not the burial site and that&#8217;s what the president claimed —&#8221; Alcindor tried again.
&#8220;The video showed images of crosses in South Africa about white farmers who have been killed and politically persecuted because of the color of their skin, and those crosses are representing their lives and the fact that they are now dead and their government did nothing about it,&#8221; Leavitt said as Alcindor continued to try to talk over her.
&#8220;Are you disputing that there&#8217;s no —&#8221; Leavitt pressed.
&#8220;I&#8217;m disputing the fact that the video showed what the president claimed it showed, because it did not show that,&#8221; Alcindor insisted. &#8220;But even more, who at the White House is responsible for —&#8221;
&#8220;It did show that, it showed white crosses representing people who have perished because of racial persecution,&#8221; Leavitt continued.
&#8220;— verifying the videos that the president shows, and what protocols are in place when there&#8217;s unsubstantiated information being put out for the world leaders —&#8221; Alcindor tried one more time.
&#8220;Yamiche, what&#8217;s unsubstantiated about the video?&#8221; Leavitt asked again — and then she noted that The Associated Press had also shared a photo of the same memorial, along with a caption that read, &#8220;A view of crosses planted at the White Cross Monument, each one marking a white farmer who has been killed in a farm murder, is seen on a hillside in Ysterberg near Polokwane, South Africa.&#8221;
&#8220;So it is substantiated, not just by that video and the physical evidence that everybody saw on display in the Oval Office, but also by another outlet in this room, The Associated Press, so you should take it up with them if you believe the claim is unsubstantiated.&#8221;

White House Issues Statement Of ‘Outrage’ After Terror Attack On Israeli Embassy Staffers

Dr. Stephen Quay does not believe President Joe Biden was only just diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, telling The Daily Wire, &#8220;there is a mismatch between the standard of care [Biden] should have been getting, and what we&#8217;re hearing about now.&#8221;
Quay, a University of Michigan-educated doctor, author, and <a href="https://drquay.com/">renowned scientist</a>, spoke to The Daily Wire just days after the former president&#8217;s office announced that he had been diagnosed with an &#8220;aggressive form&#8221; of prostate cancer that had already metastasized to his bones. He said he&#8217;s received death threats since he began speaking out about Biden&#8217;s diagnosis, calling the experience &#8220;quite bizarre.&#8221;
But Quay made it clear that he is simply offering thoughts &#8220;based on peer-reviewed papers that address large populations.&#8221; To that end, he notes that 85 to 90% of all cases, the disease progression from localized in the prostate to advanced metastatic disease is a process that plays out &#8220;over the course of five to seven years.&#8221;
Quay made it clear that while a rapid onset of advanced disease was certainly possible, that was only the case in perhaps one or two percent of patients. He also noted the fact that Biden&#8217;s cancer is &#8220;hormone sensitive&#8221; could potentially explain the former president&#8217;s physical and cognitive decline.
&#8220;The standard treatment would be to deprive the body of testosterone through <a href="https://www.cancer.org/cancer/types/prostate-cancer/treating/hormone-therapy.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Androgen Deprivation Therapy,&#8221;</a> Quay said. For a man of Biden&#8217;s age, such a precipitous drop in testosterone could lead patients to lose muscle tone and become noticeably weaker.
&#8220;Out of 100 men, nearly 40% will have a serious fall within six to 12 months of ADT treatment,&#8221; he said, adding that another common side effect had to do with patients seeing cognitive issues.
&#8220;Some of that will be self-reported, where they just notice that maybe they&#8217;re not as sharp as they have been in the past,&#8221; Quay said, also noting that the people around the patient might also notice cognitive decline even when the patient himself did not.
While Quay said that he had no knowledge of whether Biden <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/doctors-raise-questions-about-timing-of-biden-cancer-diagnosis-unbelievable-this-was-missed" target="_blank" rel="noopener">knew of his diagnosis</a> prior to his office&#8217;s public announcement, he said that it was possible that the former president&#8217;s noticeably awkward gait and obvious cognitive issues were side effects of the standard treatment for his cancer.
If that were the case, he added, he could understand why someone in Biden&#8217;s position might have made a &#8220;calculated decision&#8221; not to release the information to the public.
&#8220;He might have not had the cognitive issues when he decided to go ahead with a campaign,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s true that he probably couldn’t be elected with cancer or cognitive issues, so at some point, he would have to make a calculated decision whether or not to tell people. But to speak to whether or not that was the right course of action, I stop being a doctor with an opinion and start being a voter with an opinion — and that’s fine as long as I can keep them compartmentalized.&#8221;
A Biden spokesman has said that <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/joe-biden/joe-biden-psa-screening-2014-prostate-cancer-rcna208120" target="_blank" rel="noopener">nothing was hidden</a> from the public and that the former president did not receive his prostate cancer diagnosis until last Friday. The spokesman also said Biden&#8217;s last known prostate cancer screening — called a Prostate Specific Antigen test — was in 2014.
Quay discussed the efficacy of PSAs in an X post shortly after Biden&#8217;s diagnosis was made public.
&#8220;Prostate cancer is the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases,&#8221; he wrote.
&#8220;The PSA blood test shows the rate of cancer cell growth. For even with the most aggressive form, it is a 5-7 year journey without treatment before it becomes metastatic. Meaning, it would be malpractice for this patient to show up and be first diagnosed with metastatic disease in May 2025. It is highly likely he was carrying a diagnosis of prostate cancer throughout his White House tenure and the American people were uninformed.&#8221;

Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy weighed in on the conversation surrounding &#8220;Original Sin,&#8221; the new book from CNN anchor Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson, which digs into former President Joe Biden&#8217;s cognitive and physical decline — and the lengths to which the White House went to keep the situation under wraps.
Doocy responded specifically to those who were wondering why &#8220;nobody asked&#8221; about Biden&#8217;s condition or whether it was being covered up by his family and his White House.

Doocy then shared a series of news clips, primarily from 2023 and 2024, in which he had directly challenged members of Biden&#8217;s administration.
In the first clip, Doocy is seen asking about Biden&#8217;s ability to handle any situation that might arise, even if it happened to be past his bedtime. &#8220;Say that the Pentagon at some point picks up an incoming nuke. It&#8217;s 11:00 p.m. Who do you call? The First Lady?&#8221; he asked.
Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre brushed off the question, saying only that Biden had a team of the best people around him to handle emergencies.

In the second clip, Doocy presses Jean-Pierre about a fundraiser at which Biden had told a story about white nationalist riots in Charlottesville inspiring his campaign — and then repeating it in a way that suggested he&#8217;d already forgotten telling the story the first time.
A third clip shows Doocy asking about a similar lapse, saying, &#8220;How is President Biden ever going to convince the three-quarters of voters who are worried about his physical and mental health that he&#8217;s okay even though in Las Vegas he told a story about recently talking to a French president who died in 1996?&#8221;
Jean-Pierre dodged the question entirely: &#8220;I&#8217;m not even gonna go down that rabbit hole.&#8221;

Citing Franklin Foer&#8217;s book &#8220;The Last Politician,&#8221; Doocy asks in the next clip about reports that Biden was treated &#8220;like a baby&#8221; by his staffers. Jean-Pierre waved that claim off as well, saying it was &#8220;ridiculous.&#8221;
Quoting former Special Counsel Robert Hur, Doocy pressed Biden directly on Hur&#8217;s assessment that he was a &#8216;well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory,'&#8221; and then pressed him on how bad his memory actually was.
Biden claimed he was fit to serve, and then jabbed at Doocy, &#8220;My memory is so bad I let you speak.&#8221;

He also included a clip from 2019 in which he confronted Biden about whether or not there was a pledge in place for him to serve only a single term as president. There was not one.
The last clip shows Doocy once again in the White House briefing room, where he asked Jean-Pierre about medical testing that could provide new information about Biden&#8217;s condition.
&#8220;And are you guys just not — since February, testing President Biden for Parkinson&#8217;s or for dementia because, if he gets a bad result, it&#8217;s all over that day?&#8221; Doocy asked, later adding, &#8220;I know that especially as adults get into their 80s, health conditions can pop up more than just once a year when he&#8217;s getting his physical &#8230; Why doesn&#8217;t anybody in the President&#8217;s family urge him just to go to get checked out to say the coast is clear?&#8221;

‘Welcome To The Party’: Peter Doocy Hits Back At Claims Reporters Didn’t Ask About Biden’s Decline

Former FBI Director James Comey embarked on a media tour to save face after an Instagram post landed him in hot water, and he doubled down on claims that he&#8217;d had nothing to do with creating the shell formation he&#8217;d photographed during a casual &#8220;beach walk&#8221; — and that he&#8217;d had no idea the term &#8220;86&#8221; might imply a threat.
Comey first found himself at the center of heated conversation when he shared a photo from the beach, showing seashells that &#8220;someone&#8221; had arranged to form the numbers &#8220;86&#8221; and &#8220;47.&#8221; Critics immediately noted that &#8220;86&#8221; was generally understood to mean &#8220;get rid of&#8221; and &#8220;47&#8221; was a clear reference to President Donald Trump, the 47th president — and they pointed out the fact that Comey should have known better than to post something that so many would interpret as a threat.
The former FBI chief, who was fired by Trump in 2017, claimed at the time that he did not realize the term implied violence and deleted the post — but not before it caught the attention of current FBI Director Kash Patel, and it earned Comey a visit from the United States Secret Service.
Comey doubled down during an appearance on CBS&#8217; &#8220;The Late Show&#8221; with Stephen Colbert, saying again that he and his wife had simply stumbled on the arrangement of seashells — and that he&#8217;d interpreted the message as entirely political.

After years of dismissing the Hunter-centric scandals that plagued former President Joe Biden&#8217;s White House, CNN anchor Jake Tapper unloaded on Hunter Biden during a recent interview with longtime journalist Katie Couric.
Tapper spoke with Couric alongside Axios reporter Alex Thompson — with whom he wrote the new book, &#8220;Original Sin,&#8221; about the obvious physical and cognitive decline of the former president and the lengths to which those around him went to cover that up. But when the conversation turned to Hunter Biden, Tapper said that he&#8217;d found former President Joe Biden&#8217;s embattled son to be &#8220;unethical, sleazy, and prone to bad decisions.&#8221;

&#8220;How big a factor was the Hunter stuff?&#8221; Couric asked, referencing the now-infamous laptop, which the Biden White House and dozens of former intelligence community officials had repeatedly tried to pass off as &#8220;Russian disinformation.&#8221;
&#8220;I think it was considerable,&#8221; Tapper began as Thompson nodded in agreement. &#8220;I think Hunter was driving the decision-making for the family in a way that people — he was almost like a chief of staff of the family.&#8221;

Tapper agreed: &#8220;It&#8217;s bizarre because I think he is provably, demonstrably, unethical, sleazy and prone to horrible decisions, I mean —&#8221;
&#8220;Tell me how you really feel,&#8221; Couric interjected.
&#8220;Well, I — Just look at the record: after his brother died, he cheated on his wife with his brother’s widow and then got her addicted to crack,&#8221; Tapper continued. &#8220;That&#8217;s just one thing I could say. I mean, there — I don&#8217;t have a lot of personal regard for him, and just based on — having nothing to do with — I barely have ever met him, I&#8217;ve met him once or twice. But I knew Beau. Beau was a great, upstanding guy.&#8221;
&#8220;I knew him too,&#8221; Couric said. &#8220;A really —&#8221;
&#8220;A real loss,&#8221; Tapper said. &#8220;For the country too, not just for his family, for the country. But Hunter is not that, and the idea of letting him drive the family car, as it were, is just really, really questionable.&#8221;
Nearly five years earlier, however — as Joe Biden neared the finish line of the 2020 presidential election and shortly after the New York Post had dropped the bombshell that was the Hunter Biden laptop story — Tapper had dismissed the allegations against Hunter Biden as &#8220;wildly unhinged&#8221; and &#8220;too disgusting&#8221; for him to repeat on air.
