Black Lives Matter activists in Minnesota reportedly stopped protesting a fatal police shooting after learning that the man involved in the incident was a white carjacking suspect.

According to a report from the New York Post, dozens of BLM protesters demonstrated outside Democratic Gov. Tim Walz’s St. Paul mansion on Sunday, but they turned to leave after they were given more details about the incident, including that the man who was fatally shot by officers was white and had allegedly stolen a car:
