<p>President <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/joe-biden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Joe Biden</a> has almost completely recovered from COVID-19, according to White House physician Kevin O’Connor.</p>
<p>O’Connor released a statement on Monday afternoon saying that the president’s symptoms from a bout with COVID-19 have “almost resolved completely.” Biden has been isolating at his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he has remained out of the public eye for five straight days.</p>
<p>&#8220;President Biden completed his tenth dose of PAXLOVID this morning. His symptoms have almost resolved completely. His pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature remain absolutely normal. His oxygen saturation continues to be excellent on room air. His lungs remain clear,” O’Connor wrote in the health update put out by the White House.</p>
<p>&#8220;The President continues to perform all of his presidential duties. I will continue to keep your office updated with any changes in his condition or treatment plan,” O’Connor wrote.</p>

<p>Experts have previously expressed doubts that O&#8217;Connor is a reliable source about the health of the president. Regardless of the history of White House physicians obscuring presidential health problems from the public, O&#8217;Connor has a muddied history of business dealings with the Biden family that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/can-americans-trust-bidens-physician-to-be-honest-about-the-presidents-health-experts-say-no" target="_blank" rel="noopener">compromise</a> his position even more, according to ethics experts.</p>
<p>The health update comes as Biden has remained out of sight as questions have whirled over his health and competency to hold the highest office in the United States. The update comes a day after the president dropped out of the presidential race, citing “the best interest of my party and the country.”</p>

<p>“I will speak to the Nation later this week in more detail about my decision,” Biden wrote in a letter of his decision. He later endorsed his vice president, Kamala Harris, to take over the campaign and be recognized at the Democratic National Convention as the Democratic nominee for president.</p>
<p>The last public sighting of Biden was him disembarking at the U.S. air base in Dover, Delaware, late Wednesday on his way to his vacation home to begin his time isolating with COVID.</p>
