<p>According to <a href="https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/18564550.scots-author-gillian-philip-dumped-backing-jk-rowling-transgender-row/">Herald Scotland</a>, Gillian Philip, author of a series of popular children&#8217;s books, tweeted in support of J.K. Rowling and was subsequently fired from her position with Working Partners, a fiction packaging firm.</p>
